We understand how important it is to have your Linksys devices work as expected. There's still an option to set up the Linksys router without the Linksys app. You just have to use its "Browser-based Setup" option. Moreover, making sure that the range extender is placed within the Wi-Fi range of the wireless router may help resolve the connectivity issue. The Linksys RE6350 WiFi Range Extender should work with any wireless router. We could have tried to relocate the extender closer to the router and, used WPS or the browser-based setup to install the extender.
