I haven’t had a chance to play this yet, but from all the reviews and videos of gameplay I’ve watched, it looks fantastic. Just know that it’s mostly separate, shorter, experimental stories with each character that only come together in the last chapter or two. Knowing this and several other tips / unique aspects about this previously unlocalized JRPG will greatly help you enjoy it for what it is. Thankful Square put this out!

Great rpg! Amazing graphics and good gameplay fun time

One of the most underrated games to have released for the Switch. It's an instant classic. If you are a fan of rpg's then you should absolutely buy this game, you will not regret it.

If you like the games of old Squaresoft, then this is a good one that never made it to America back in the day. It feels similar to something like Chrono Trigger. Great music, fun characters, and a neat HD pixel art style.

This is an excellent way for Live A Live to make its Western debut. This SNES game has been reworked with HD-2D graphics and full voiceover. I love it!

I very bit as gorgeous as many other games in the vain of Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy as well as feeling just as nostalgic as the old school rpg’s with some much needed quality of life updates and polish. A definite purchase!

Its a good game. 6 different stories. Not long enough gameplay time. Excellent graphics for a 2.5 HD. Overall good but not replayable.

This is a fun JRPG game. I really like the updated graphics. This is not a game you can pick up and put down quick. It does take some time to figure out each era, but exploring it is fun for a completionist like me.

Fantastic game. Very unique JRPG experience with a ton of charm and heart. Respects your time, it's the perfect RPG for someone who doesn't want to spend 60+ hours beating it! Can beat it with all characters in under 20 hours. Perfect for aging gamers lol.

A superb remake! The visuals and music are breathtaking, and the gameplay has been much improved thanks to the new quality of life features. You should definitely check out this unique and amazing game!

Amazing that they are finally localizing these games that didn’t get US releases back in the day and giving them a sweet HD 2.5D revamp. It’s greatly appreciated and the music and storylines hold up incredibly well

Also glad i was able to snag a physical copy since games like these tend to become more rare in the future. this games alot of fun too so far im really enjoying it about 4 hours in.

Amazing game. 1st time its ever been released here in the States. Released only in Asia decades ago. This game has you play multiple stories with different characters. Deff reccomend.

This game legit surprised me. It’s hard to believe this released originally on the Super Famicom. The upgraded visuals, soundtrack, and everything is marvelous and I cannot recommend this game enough.

LiveALive is a terrific RPG. It has great, short scenarios that weave together into one cohesive plot, and each is short enough to enjoy in an evening. Great visual style and great soundtrack, too.

Just back to basic kinda rpg with a great story/stories. youll have a blast and takes like 20ish hours to beat so it doesnt over stay its welcome youre not committing your life to it either.

I’m a few hours into the game and have finished the Wild West, Present Day, and Imperial China segments. The game is fun and at times challenging. I suspect it won’t last as long as I generally like from RPGs. But I would still recommend playing it. It hits some of the high notes of various genres; has excellent music; and is generally quite entertaining.

I have been a fan of these HD-2D games coming out, so I had to try this one out and it blew me away. It is one of the most unique RPG experiences I have ever played.
