The Roger Moore Bond film I like...

A fan of the 007 movies, Roger Moore wasn't one of my favorite Bonds but this is one of two of his films I like. I'm not fond of the cover for this Blu-ray, but the movie inside is what matters.

When purchasing the film, which was the only one in the store, it was no longer connected internally to the button which normally keeps it in place. Therefore, there was minor damage to the disc.

As bad as they would later become, with Moore as Bond, this 1st attempt is a film worth seeing, as part of the series, in blu-ray.

Another Bond movie for the collection starring Roger Moore. It's a fair movie for the time period.

Worst Bond Movie. Still History.

Firstly this movie's plot would have been handled by something like the FBI, then they make the first love interest a "SUPERSTITIOUS African American CIA woman". They could have named this movie "James Bond goes to Louisiana" and it would have worked just the same.

Sir Roger's 007 debut

Despite a plot hole or two, this film is a fine debut for Sir Roger Moore as James Bond.
007 investigates the deaths of 3 fellow agents in different parts of the world. Eventually, he encounters the ruthless Dr. Kananga (Yaphet Kotto) & his beautiful aide Solitaire (Jane Seymour).
What the film may not entirely have in terms of scrutiny, it makes up for in its action pieces, especially the fabulous boat chase across Louisiana.
The title tune by Paul McCartney & the Wings is also a classic.

It's a great movie. I think it's one of the best James Bond ever made. They also picked a great theme song in Live And Let Die by PAUL MCARTNY. It's a ecsiting movie that you don't want to stop watching. It's very exiting about chasing Mr.Big. James Bond also gets captered about five times andmost of it's setting is in Lousinana.

Good, but not Roger Moore's Best

For Roger Moore's first Bond film, he did good. However, this is probably one of the worst of his movies. However, even though its the worst, Roger
Moore is the best Bond!! With Solitare as his Bond girl, Roger Moore more than makes up for the bad plot. You should buy this!

it is always a pleasure to watch a James Bond's movie, and "Live and Let Die" is very popular, but i like some old special effects (1973)

Average 'Bond' Movie

I think 'Live And Let Die' is still best well known for its theme song by former 'Beetles' member Paul McCartney. The movie itself lives up to what you'd expect from a '007' picture, but isn't as good as many of the other films of the series. Widescreen, but but die-hard fans will probably want to try and get the 2-disc special edition instead.
