Watched this on dvd and the concert was amazing, but watching it on blu-day made it even more amazing. Great voice combined with Cirque. Wish I had seen this in person.

For Celine Dion fans this is the best you can get short of seeing her in Vegas. Filmed at her Las Vegas concert. I was expecting more of her singing with an orchestra and less production. But now seeing the video & considering it was shot in Vegas the production is to be expected. Dancers a plenty and people floating across the stage etc. I was hoping for more of a straight up concert. I am sure I sure I am in the minority as most people like and expect the big production. The Audio & video quality are top notch.

I liked some of the songs she sang but did not like the dancers at all to me it was very boring.

If you are not a fan of Celine Dion, this blu-ray is clearly not for you. With extra features that boggle the mind, "A New Day" is one of the more comprehensive concert dvds I have ever seen. The two-disc set includes the full length concert in amazing picture quality. Disc two houses special features that are not to be missed... an unfiltered behind the scenes look at the backstage area is simply hypnotic to watch -- it runs the entire concert length on a split screen (in some cases) that shows backstage as well as what is going on up on stage simutaneously. Other featurettes include a documentary on a few select fans who get to live their dream of meeting Celine in person and their reactions to her Vegas show. A great purchase for any Celine Dion fan.

Celine Dion documents her extraordinary 5-year engagement in Las Vegas in this outstanding Blu Ray set. The main concert is a breathtaking, high-energy thrill ride with one of the premier entertainers of all time. The picture quality is flawless and the sound brings out all of the passion and control of Celine's award winning voice. My personal favorite is "River Deep, Mountain High". This could be a single and video. The quality is that good. The extras include three documentaries which are all compelling. It was amazing to see Celine interact with her fans. She was really interested in them. None of the extras are "fluff" and all are worth watching more than one. This Blu Ray set is the highlight of my collection.

If you are a true Celine fan you will appreciate this disk. From top to bottom this disk is excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan and even those who aren't! You won't be disappointed so don't think twice about buying it!
