Last year I bought a tracker system that the year service cost $50 and was Very unreliable and very complicated to installed. Then I make some research and found the Automatic 3G car adapter. First, no service fee for 5 years and the price for the unit is reasonable. The installation was very easy and take me just 5 minutes. So far the accuracy of this tracker has been spot on. Now I have installed it in all my cars. Other thing I love is the integration with others apps and also with Alexa. Simply I just love it.

Bought this to track our vehicle after our trailer was stolen. Worked like it supposed to. The apps is very simple to use and shows real time location of vehicle including movements. It is free the first year of usage then fees thereafter. The only complaint I have is hooking up to the diagnostic plug where a jaded thief would probably look, otherwise works great.

This tracking device is great in all it purposes but the only problem is that it is not 100% accurate in locations. Just a little off. Had a little problems activating it. After a few tries it worked wonderful. A little expensive but you dont pay an outside company for app usage. I had searched online for a device that would help, and this is the best one I have seen.

Install was easy / but didn't take right away App seems stable / hasn't crashed or anything like that Love that they integrated the IFTTT community *get some notifications a bit late

I wanted to know what my engine light meant without going into the shop. Bought this not only did it give me the code but it let me clear it when I determined it was not important. I also plan to use it to track mileage related to charity work. I also like that it gives me a better breakdown of my mpg. Can tell difference between city and highway trips also logs where I parked. Finally, if you have other driver you can get notices when your car is driven somewhere.

I had the previous version of this device, and really like how it helps you to be a better driver. It provides you statistics on where you go, what your gas mileage is, and informs you of "bad habits". These include time spent over 70 mph, hard stops, heart starts, and hard cornering. At the end of each week it grades you on how well you did. This version takes it up a notch by no longer requiring the app to run in the background on your phone. The main advantage is you can track your vehicle if someone else (i.e. children) is using it. This provides a great communication tool so everyone in the family can know when folks are on the way home, stuck in traffic, or still at work. The entire time I use this device, there have been no monthly fees. It's easy to bring with you and put in a rental car so you can have the same conveniences wherever you travel.

Once connected and calibrated, the unit works quite well. Be prepared to get error messages when trying to connect your phone to the device initially. Moving this device between vehicles is a real nightmare, but should be easy, according to the instructions. No monthly fees for 5 years, I believe, which is good.

This device is very easy to install, even if you are not tech savy or good with cars. It literally installs in two minutes. The app is easy to use and works great. If you need to keep track of your vehicle or mileage this works great. The price is higher but there is not monthly fee so it quickly becomes a value.

I purchased this product to test what was wrong with my car. it told me what was wrong down to a point. an even how to fix it. I plan on purchasing this for my other car

My wife drives a 9 year old minivan and doesn't like to drive when the check engine light goes on. Most of the time it is smog related and you can continue driving. Now I can check codes remotely to reassure her if it ever goes off again.

The Automatic Pro is a very easy to use device. It plugs into the computer port on your car and collects lots of information that is readily accessible on the associated mobile app. Some of the information available includes miles driven, gas milage, and average speed. The data are synchronized periodically via 3g (at no charge to you) when the device can establish a connection. It also provides a weekly driving report and a monthly "driving habits" report. Best of all (but hopefully not used often) the device can decipher the code associated with the check engine light on your car and tell you precisely why the check engine light is displayed. Finally, if you are involved in a car accident the device can automatically contact your emergency contacts and inform them. Pretty cool.

Good product for the price! I bought it for my son for Christmas and we'll see how he much he likes it.

We bought this for another layer of safety for a new driver in the family. Basic features work as advertised. Setup and use is simple. We have not tested some features, like the crash alert. I hope to never try that. We found a better price at Best Buy than anywhere else (including Amazon). This was recommended by us to a friend, and we would do the same.

I loved this Automatic, I drive a lot for work, and expense my mileage, this device makes it extremely easy to keep track of my miles. At any time I want I can't get a report sent to me or to my google drive in the form of excel! Plus the added bonus of being able to track car problems and driving styles.

Great peace of mind to be alerted when your vehicle starts and stops, and being able to locate it via the app. Very accurate trip logging as well. I use it for vehicle tracking and keeping track of mileage

I have owned both the 1st and 2nd generations of the automatic and this the 3rd and most recent generation is by far the best! I had 0 issues with installation and setup which was not the case for the other 2! The app is great and very informative. It is well worth the money!

Has served my purpose of tracking vehicles very well. Only downside is that a couple times it has gone off-line so you don’t know where the car is until the car is started again and driven
