Truly does seem to work on any surface as its name states. The mouse directly on my laptop is flaky, so I always like to have a separate mouse available. Other mouses I have had were never reliable on different surfaces, whereas this one has never failed me. This is a very inexpensive back-up that everyone with a laptop should have in my opinion.

I think $40 USD is too much for a mouse but I like it very much.

Love everything about this mouse except its side key is not compatible with Window's enlarge/zoom function which I had become used to on my old Microsoft mice. There is a workaround to get there that is a little clumsy and requires a key combination to get out of. Other than that, good value, easy feel -- would recommend overall.

I used to have the old model, it had a better shape. For the money it should be better

This mouse is the perfect fit with my HP laptop. It's compact, easily pairs through bluetooth/Logitech set point software, and literally can be used just about anywhere & works on most surfaces. Best mouse I've owned so far.

Excellent resolution. Small and convenient. Large on/off switch doubles as laser cover. Just the right size for large hands. Laser performs well on every surface I have tried.

I purchased this mouse since my kitchen table is made of glossy tiles. Regular mice never work on this type of surface so I had to buy this. I think it works very well on any surface that I use it on, even glass. If you don't need to work on a glass or glossy surface, I'm sure there are less expensive options, but if you do, this is a great option. I've used numerous wireless Logitech items in the past and I've never had a problem. Also, don't forget to make use of the side buttons and left-right on the scroll wheel. If you don't like the default functions, you can customize what they do by installing Set Point from the Logitech site. Enjoy!

I use my laptop on my bed, and this mouse is fantastic on even sheets, so truth in advertising on being able to work on all surfaces. I have a small hand, and it fits my palm perfectly. Love the little case it comes with, since I travel a fair bit with my laptop. Easy setup with just plug in and use.

I've used a lot of wireless, portable mice and this is my favorite by far. The size, shape, and feel is perfect for mobile use. I'd even consider using it for permanent desktop use. It's small, but not too small and still comfortable to use.
