I’m just used to a real shifter that is a bit firmer while this game shifter is very loose. It’s very easy to shift thru the gears without hardly any resistance or spring back to center. This just takes time to get used to. Overall, I love it much better than using the paddle shifters since it mirrors a real car and I can shift easier while turning the wheel.

A Must Have for an Immersive Experience

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While I had issues getting Windows 11 to recognize the shifter (downloading Logitech Gaming Software fixed it), the frustration has been worth it. The paddle shifters on the G29 steering wheel work fine. I primarily race open wheel cars which it's perfect for. For the games that feel better with the shifter, it's a must have. American Truck Simulator, iRacing, Forza Horizon 5, and GRID Legends all feel incredible with the shifter. If you're questioning if you should get it or not, the answer is yes.
