For such an inexpensive product, this joystick is perfect for any beginners or entry-level simmers. I did find that mine was slightly loose on the yaw axis, which made rudder usage slightly challenging and jerky at times. Aside from that this is a very solid choice if with all the features you need and enough buttons for most important functions.

I like the joystick, however this is the 4th one I have had in two years. It seems to malfunction after about 6 months of use. It pays to purchase the replacement coverage otherwise it has to be returned to the factory. With the coverage Best Buy just replaces it. This last time though it had to be ordered in from another store as the local store did not have any in stock. Saleperson stated they didn't think Best Buy was going to carry this joystick anymore. I bought this to be able to land aircraft without killing all my passengers in Flight Simulator X. It works exactly as it is supposed to and I have not had a single problem with the device at all. If you play a flight sim and are using a mouse and keyboard, don't be cheap, pay the price to get something that isn't going to stop working the second time you plug it in. I have used this thing ALOT with no problem. Easy install, great response to movement, and it makes the sim a lot more realistic. STOP READING AND MAKE A GOOD DECISION, BUY IT.

I got this joystick for playing Elite Dangerous and am not disappointed. There are plenty of buttons to assign to the many game functions, and the quality seems very good.

I got this joystick for playing Battlefield 4. The joystick is a great value and works great with the game. The throttle is a bit touchy but ii think that is from the game and not the hardware.

I got this joystick after seeing just how seamlessly the youtuber Full Tilled Gaming(FTG) used it in his Farming Simulator22. I have used it now for about 3 or 4 weeks now and had no idea just how many of my games would benefit from a joystick like this. I'm very happy and would recommend this to anybody. Price point is spot on for this performance without jumping up to over the $100 dollar point. Nice job Logitech

I bought a used Lenovo IdeaPad 1i 15.6" screen, Intel Pentium Silver N 6000. I don't know if it's Dual Core or Single Core. It has Windows 11. I hooked up this Joystick and it works just fine on Microsoft Flight Simulator X. No mapping, No calibrating, No software download, nothing. Just Plug N Play on default settings. Rudder, Ailrons, Flaps everything works perfect. You just have to figure out which button does what by trial and error. When you plug in the Joystick, you hear a "ding" noise and nothing else happens. So people might think it didn't get recognized. Actually just have the game on, Plug in the Joystick and use it. It works just fine. There were only a couple of things I had to look up, as to how to do and you have to use keyboard for that. Besides that it works great. You don't have to use the keyboard constantly. Only for P=Pause the Game, Q=turns the sound on if you accidentally turned it off, I did. Trigger=Brakes, stops it from rolling. Ctrl + E= to start the engines in some missions if needed. Besides that, it's Plug N Play on default settings. Worked for me, perfect.

If you want/need a joystick for your gaming needs, this joystick will be sufficient enough for those that don't have a lot of money to spend. A lot of buttons for configuration, great feel, very responsive. I play war thunder on this joystick and although it took me a while to set up the buttons/setting, it was well worth it knowing i can play with how i want the joystick to feel while flying the plane.

However, it's apparent that my teenage son has no clue how to work it or the great features within games where you can select the function for each button and switches. He used it for an aircraft simulator, I used it to hunt down and destroy his friends in War Hammer. If you love a good dogfight, you'll enjoy this joystick.

I got nostalgic and snagged a couple of the old Star Wars flight simulators (X-Wing vs TIE Fighter and X-Wing Alliance) and needed a joystick so I could game like it was 1999 again. For $25, this sucker is more than accurate enough with enough function buttons for what I need in the games (several of the controls are on the keyboard anyway, there's waaaaaay too many to put on ANY lone joystick). The trigger is nice and responsive. Suits my needs just great. It doesn't feel as "premium" as more expensive joysticks, but seriously: it's $25. Great value.

This joystick is a overall four star but for the cost it's nearly a five star. The quality and feel is simple plastic but it works and it works good. I purchased a second one because it's very good (not great) and I want to have a backup just in case something happens and because it seems like even joysticks are having a shortage.

A Classic, Just The Way I Remembered It

Back in my gaming heyday I wore out several Logitech joysticks from constant playing of the X-Wing and Tie-Fighter games, as well as flight sims from B-17 Flying Fortress to Falcon 4.0. With the reemergence of some new space sims and the rediscovery of the Star Wars games, I'm trying to jump back in the saddle and what better joystick to use than the tried and true 3D Pro. Even back in my prime I preferred the simplicity of these type of joysticks over the complexity of a HOTAS system. I had buddies that had virtual cockpits in their rooms but then, they were training to actually be USAF pilots while my eyes destined me to flying a desk (actually a nuclear missile, but then later a desk). This joystick is just as good as I remembered it and it work great with all the modern games. I will say though that while several on-line forums said that this joystick works with Macs, it does but intermittently and not with anywhere near full functionality. Also, some of the older games such as Tie-Fighter will not map to these buttons. I'm sure that there is some software workaround for that but I'm not too worried. It works great with my laptop and the games I have loaded on it.
