This is a bit heavy, so it’s not the easiest to carry around. However, the keyboard and touchpad work very well.

I love love love this keyboard. It doesn’t run out of charge like the one I purchased on Amazon. It’s sturdy and very good quality. I would purchase it again, if I had to.

The best product I have ever gotten for myself. I work from home and never been a fan of laptops. It works really well for me. The design is sleek. The functionality is excellent. I personally feel this product is so much better than a magic keyboard. I can control the volume, brightness, home screen button, and etc from the keyboard unlike the magic keyboard. Also, it is so much more affordable than magic keyboard.

Keyboard size & keys fit my fingers for technique learned for typing w/ both hands. Opening & positioning for use while standing works for incidental use e.g. reviewing & responding to emails & text messages. Attractive gray textured case; appears easy to clean. Although trackpad is rarely used, convenient to have. Will possibly use more often but have attached a Bluetooth mouse. No charging feature eliminates power concern.

This is a great product for what it is. The keyboard is solid and the trackpad is very responsive. However, if you are looking to make an iPad a complete laptop replacement, then this may not be the right choice. Perhaps the biggest issue is that it's not "lapable." You will need to set it on a table or flat surface as it requires the kickstand to stand up. A hinged case would probably be better for a laptop replacement. The other issue would be the trackpad, while excellent, it has the "diving board" issue. It is hinged at the top so if you have to click and drag upwards, you will eventually lose the click, releasing whatever you were dragging. (It can also be set to where you just tap to click, but I'm not aware you can drag in that mode.) Overall, the quality is great, and there are numerous little thoughtful design choices that make this case stand out. One of those being if you flip the case backwards to use it as a base then the keyboard and trackpad become inoperable to prevent accidental input. There are also several places for the magnetic latch, which keeps the case shut tightly no matter if you have an Apple Pencil, Logitech Crayon or nothing at all underneath it. If you are only using your iPad for occasional/casual use when traveling or have a specific spot you plan to use it at home this is a great option. I tend to be very picky about keyboards and I'm quite happy with this keyboard's travel and physical click. Unless you pound the keys, it is silent. The backlighting, which can be dimmed or brightened, is excellent too. Overall, I would recommend this case, depending on your usage needs.

Bought this today. I have been very skeptical of case keyboards just because it seems like a little much since some pretty decent keyboards exist in the $30 range. But I took the leap. I’m glad I did. There is indeed an opening for the Touch ID, I’m not sure what model other people received but this one I got has an opening. I like the fabric exterior, it looks very business profesh, I’m about it. They keyboard is nothing to write home about, it works well. For keyboards, I do like a nice bounce back when I type these have that….to a certain extent but for the most part is a pretty flat typing experience but then again…it’s a case keyboard hybrid, so for that I think it’s fine. The keyboard is backlit, such a nice touch when it’s dark. I love the hot key bar. Adjust the volume, brightness, locking/unlocking, play rewind fast forward…all are really nice to have on the keyboard also. The mouse pad is really good. I was scared, touch pads in my experience have not been the greatest but this is nice. It’s new to me using a mouse with my iPad but I like it. It really does feel like a laptop replacement. I don’t know what you can’t do on this that a basic laptop could do. It’s worth it I think. I do think it could have been a bit cheaper…but I mean, I still bought it so…whatever lol. Try it out, if you don’t like it, you can always turn it back in. Good luck

I purchased this keyboard to go along with a new iPad Air. I had an older keyboard on my old iPad. This one is far superior to that. It’s a dream to type on, actually much better than my MacBook Pro. I like that it’s backlit and that it connects to the iPad just like the Apple keyboard does, yet it’s half the price. I’m very happy with this keyboard and the protection is provides to my tablet.

Perfect for the iPad. Makes using the iPad a breeze and the case is well made. Perfect companion for the iPad and easy to use. I would highly recommend this product to others.

I’ve owned this for a couple months now. The quality of materials is nice and it just looks cool. I like that it can function in a variety of positions and it seems to know what position it’s in. For example it disables the keyboard when folded in such a way that the keyboard is facing downward. The keys are illuminated and feel good to type on. There are really only two things i dont like: (1) its a little hard to open, i struggle every time in finding the right spot to pry it open from and dealing with the annoying but functional magnetic flap/closure. (2) the volume control is hard to use, you really have to press hard in just the right spot. But overall its a great value and for me, a must-have accessory for the iPad.

This keyboard is a nice extension to my iPad. It is nice to be able to take it and use it with or without the keyboard. The touch to the keyboard is great. You don't have to press hard at all. It is nice because the Apple version is a bit pricer. So, this was a nice alternative to adding a keyboard to my iPad without breaking the bank.

This keyboard feels good to use and setup could not have been easier. I've definitely noticed an increase in my productivity while using it, and while I've also noticed that my iPad's battery depletes a little faster, it's easy to account for that.

If you’re looking for a cheaper version of the apple’s ipad keyboard then this is the one to buy. It’s almost the same plus it has protection on the side and the apple doesn’t. It’s a nice color and it feels great. Would highly recommend it!

I like that you don’t have to charge it separately and the keys work great too. The only thing is that I wish you could separate the iPad from the keyboard. Also it is VERY heavy, Im doing some research on something a little lighter. It charges with the iPad which is a ++++

Perfect for our family and great protection, keyboard, and case

The best two keyboards for this iPad are this one and Apple’s magic keyboard. That magic keyboard cost almost twice but honestly doesn’t offer much compared to this keyboard. You also get much more viewing angels, function keys, and more protection with this keyboard. Hence, I will recommend getting this one for anyone looking for a good typing experience for the new iPad Air.

This is the best keyboard for the Ipad Air. It offers protection and it also comes with a latch that will keep pen from falling off as well. It provides protection from drops unlike the magic keyboard.

Keyboard is robust and it springs well when I type. The only (Small) thing that bothers me is the shadow cursor on my screen when I stop using the trackpad and switch over to my Apple Pencil. I have to make sure that the cursor is moved to the corner of the screen and it’s just one extra step I need to do. Also, it’s a little heavier than I had expected.
