Best Mouse I Have Ever Used

I have medium-large hands (18.5cm) and this mouse is the perfect size and shape for my hands! It features one of the best optical sensors you can find in a mouse the Pixart PMW 3366 that is super accurate and gives that 1:1 feel when using the mouse. In games, I cannot make it lose track or spin out, even while doing the tilt-slam test. The mouse is rated to 12,000 dpi/cpi but the average person will not use more than 2000 dpi/cpi. It should be noted that this particular sensor can only track 2,100 dots per inch before it begins to subdivide the dots/pixels. Although Logitech handles the subdivision extremely well, subdividing the pixels theoretically introduces more room for error in the tracking. Other than that, I highly recommend this mouse! However, if you have small hands, it may not fit very well. This is a larger mouse and smaller hands may have issues with accuracy and control. I'm not saying it's impossible but just saying that it's something to consider. Although the Omron switches used for the left and right click are really good, they are built to be sensitive. Occasionally, if I'm in a intense battle, I have the tendency to slam the mouse down a little harder than normal when I reposition the mouse. Usually I rest my fingers on the right/left mouse buttons and when I slam the mouse down, the mouse may register a left or right click. This is most likely due to my technique. This is reproducible on just about every single mouse (gaming or not) that I have used, but some mice do it more easily than others. the Logitech G403 Prodigy is one of the easiest to do this on. But this is a gaming mouse, and all of the buttons are easy to click, tactile and register instantaneously thanks to the 1000hz polling rate. Pros: -Comfortable shape -Smooth rubber on sides to aid in grip -On board memory for gaming on different computers -Automatic Application based Profile Switching (While not using on-board memory) -16.8 million colors -Adjustable DPI from 200-12,000 in steps of 50 -Logitech Gaming Software: Lightweight (Also provides an option to monitor system stats via Arx) -Finger grooves on M1 and M2 -5 DPI settings per profile cycle-able via DPI button -1000hz polling rate (no input lag) -Top sensor (Pixart PMW 3366) -10g weight included if you want (I recommend keeping the weight in for better mouse balance) -Logitech packaging is the best, the mouse cable is wrapped around as opposed to folded and then tied up (no kinks vs kinks) Cons: -Sensitive Buttons (For some) -No dedicated side scroll (can be mitigated using macros)

I use this mouse for MMORPG and FPS games as well as everyday productivity. No, it does not have a gazillion buttons and macros but it is a very effective tool and highly accurate. The RGB is a cool feature and not in your face gaudy. The software is intuitive and easy to use, you can assign macros as well as fully adjust the RGB function / even off. The scroll wheel is absolutely perfect, smooth with proper feel to stepping without being to tight or loose. Button clicks are firm and responsive without being to clicky or mushy. There is absolutely no rattle and let's face it this has one of the best sensors hands down (the same as in the G502). It has a braided cable that is a nice tight weave and adds to the look. No added drag that I have noticed with the braided on this one versus the non-braided cable I have on other mice. It has a very good feel and grip. You could go for a little flashier, or adjustable but honestly for medium to large hands I find this to be one of the most comfortable mice I have ever used. It was between this and the Razer Death Adder and I am glad I chose this and saved some cash. When I bought this it was on sale for under $45. For the price this mouse is very hard to beat, and I am very satisfied that I added it to my gaming arsenal... Thanks for reading, hope this was helpful.

Do you really NEED a cordless mouse? Really? Is your mouse ever more than two feet from your keyboard? These are questions I was asking myself before purchasing this mouse. I needed a new mouse for my late 2015 iMac 27". The include "magic mouse" was an ergonomic nightmare. Sure, it looked great, but hours of use revealed it's ergonomic shortcomings. And, I never really benefited from the wireless aspect of the mouse. I've never had a bad experience with a Logitech device in the past, so I immediately turned to them for a new mouse for that iMac. The transformation has been incredible. I have been using this mouse for just about one month now, and using the iMac is now much more enjoyable. The cursor is super accurate and predictable. The report rate is hands-down better than a wireless mouse. I enjoy the ability to switch between DPI resolution at the touch of a button. I can work in a photo editor with extreme precision, then switch to gaming without skipping a beat. Obviously, the iMac is not a heavy gaming computer, but I am considering swapping it with the ancient (but still very good) Logitech MX-518 currently on my Win10 gaming rig. I am THAT impressed. Highly recommended for a DESKTOP computer. For a laptop, you may want to look at some of the wireless offerings. In the laptop world, fewer cords is definitely better, but look for a high report rate.

This mouse may not look as unique as the G502 or other Razer mice, but don't let the understated looks fool you. Pros: The G403 tracks flawlessly and is so very smooth. So much better than my current Razer Mamba. This may be due to the difference in Optical vs Laser sensor, but whatever the case, I noticed a big difference. The mouse buttons and LED colors can be customized in the Logitech software, which I found much more easier to use, and much more stable than the Razer synapse software, I currently have. Cons: While the wheel has a much better scroll feeling than the rickety G502, the wheel button press does take a decent amount of pressure to activate, which can be cumbersome if used frequently and for gaming. I feel my Razer Mamba has the best scroll press of the bunch, even though it falls behind in other categories. Unfortunately my hand did not fit this mouse, and as much as I loved it, I sadly had to return it. While I don't like the sharp design of the G502 as much, it tracks perfectly as well, and fits my hand much better. Conclusion: As with all mice, I strongly recommend evaluating in person, as everyone's hands are unique and the ergonomics are very different person to person, and depends on your unique grip. This mouse tracks perfectly, is solidly built, and if it fits your hand, is a dream to use!

Finally broke free from my long time used original Razer Death Adder. Using a claw grip with a death adder needs more force to pickup with its slippery sides and weight. Also tried out a Razer Basilisk. really wanted to like, but hurt my right grip fingers, very uncomfortable. This mouse is very refined in its basics. All the buttons have instant response and a nice tactile feel, it is audible. My fire rate has improved over death adder and previously owned logitech mice. Grip is near perfect for that claw grip, for function and comfort it is the best I have found for gaming. This would be five star if is had the clutch button and thumb rest of the Razer Basilisk. Everything else feels next level compared to the two razers named more precise, better buttons and more comfortable. Also worth mention the front is a little more narrow but nearly the same size as the death adder but noticeable lighter with out the add on weight. Also the wire seems a bit on the heavier side but more flexible then the death adder.

My old Logitech mouse lasted 8 years so of course I've got brand loyalty based on past experience but that didn't stop me from looking. In the 8 years, the "science" of buying a mouse has gone from cave man to lunar explorer. Tons of videos on you tube. Measure the length and width of your hand ... multiply by 60% against the dimensions of the mouse ... are you a palm, claw, modified claw, modified palm ... my head was spinning. And then there are the sensors ... laser optical ... which generation of optical. How about braided or unbraided wire ... wire or wireless. Everybody's got an opinion and then some. So I went for feel and comfort. What feels right versus what some reviewer thinks. I like this mouse and paired it with a G-810 keyboard. They share the software and the lighting effects work in unison, if you want. Classy ... fast response ... feels good for my Palm grip. There was an issue with the scroll wheel rattling a while ago. They fixed that and you want a serial number after 164L2........ oh yeah, don't forget to torture yourself with mouse pads and mouse bungees decisions, while you're at it.

I use a claw grip when I game. Most mice I try don't have a high enough arch for my palm to rest in so I always feel like I don't have full control of the mouse. This mouse fit my grip perfectly. I also love how this mouse doesn't have all the weird thumb rests and extra crazy extendable grips. As for build quality this thing is awesome. the changeable weight is nice, It has a great optical sensor and the perfect amount of weight on the clicks, MINUS the middle mouse button. If you use your mouse with index finger on the left click, middle finger on the wheel, and ring on the right button, the mouse wheel is way to heavy of a click and its almost impossible to click it without also clicking left click. I don't use my middle finger to click mouse wheel so it is not an issue for me but for high action FPS players who do for quick scopes or what have you, you could run into an issue. Overall the mouse is very minimalist and high quality and works for my claw grip. For me personally its 5 stars in the way I use it. But other gamers may have an issue with that middle mouse button, which is why I gave it a 4.

I'm not a gamer, but I wanted a very comfortable mouse, and this was the one. I tried a number of them in the Best Buy showroom and settled on this one primarily because of how it felt in my hand. This is one of those things that you can't tell from looking at a photo. It feels like a quality piece of hardware. This time, I wanted a wired mouse. The wireless mice are OK, but sometimes they can be jittery for no apparent reason. It has a long cord, which is good, because I route all cables through the back of my desk and around to my mid-tower PC. It has a cycling LED, which is fine. It also came with a small weight that is inserted into the base. This is really a smart idea, because it adds just enough weight. The weight is magnetic so it snaps into place. The one adjustment that I have had to make is that the back and forward buttons sit a bit lower than expected, because I accidentally hit them a number of times. Overall, no complaints. I love the feel of this mouse.

Grip: Hybrid claw and palm grip, closer to claw. Hand Size: 16 cm I HIGHLY recommend this mouse. I tried the Steelseries Rival 300 and the Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex, and Logitech G403 at the same time and the G403 blew the other two out of the water. G303: Reviews warned about hit or miss possible hand cramps and ergonomic unfriendliness of the G303 and it rang true for me. Even after getting used to the shape, I found it still gave me hand cramps after 2 hours of use. Rival 300: definitely had a much better ergonomic shape but it was a bit too small for my liking-made the bottom of my palm drag against my mouse pad. G403: Finally a Logitech mouse with a *normal* build and shape. The size was perfect for my hand size and grip style. It moves quickly with multiple settings and colors to choose from. Sensors are quick and the mouse comes with attachable weights which actually makes a huge difference. I HIGHLY recommend this mouse.

This is a fantastic mouse with many things going for it. The sensor is one of the best on the market which is crucial for gamers who need precision in games. The shape is great for a variety of hand sizes and grips. The texture on top and the sides is perfect and comfortable. All of the clicks are also top notch being both quick and responsive. It's also incredibly light in the hand. The RGB lighting on it is nice as well if that matters to you. I have large hands and I had a hard time finding a mouse that fit my hand and felt comfortable. The Razer Deathadder Chroma has a weird flare out shape on the right side of the mouse and was uncomfortable. The Rival 300 was better but the front of it gets narrow which gives it a feel of being smaller than it looks at first glance. I'd fully recommend this mouse to anyone in the market for a top notch gaming mouse at a great price.

This mouse is almost perfect. The only issues I have with it are the stiff cable and the weird hump by the G near the back of the mouse. It is still one of if not the best mice available. Clicks are good, grip is very good (probably the best grip available on any mouse), sensor is superb. The mouse wheel button is stiff to activate, but the wheel itself is very good. I own a lot of mice and have tried most of the ones out there worth trying. I would say this is a good mouse for productivity, but when I played FPS games I was not as accurate with this mouse as with the rival 310, deathadder elite, and rival 600, and I think it is because of the hump in the back. However, I prefer this mouse for casual web browsing.

Pros: -Very lightweight -Good shape -Great drivers -Minimalistic design Cons: -No free scroll mode like the G502 -Mouse feels unbalanced without the optional weight added on Summary: I decided to pick up the G403 to use instead of the G502 I have been using. The thumb button on the G502 was driving me nuts and was very easy to accidentally press. I went for the G403 as I liked the shape. It reminded me of the deathadder to some degree which I had at one point and loved (aside from the drivers). The G403 is a lot lighter and a much different shape and feel in the hand compared to the G502. It took some getting use to but I really like it so far. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get a nice lightweight mouse for general use or for gaming.

    Scroll Wheel Glitching

This mouse was a great starter mouse for gaming (highly recommend with a mousepad). It offers great customization of RGB lighting, sync with my G pro keyboard, and software. I say WAS because as of November, the firmware update that was supposed to fix the scroll wheel glitch that is so notorious on the mouse stopped. I keep scrolling down, and the mouse scrolls up spontaneously. I have contacted Logitech and say it's hardware and i need to wait weeks for a shipping, which is not convenient whatsoever. It is a great mouse if the firmware started working again. I do not recommend it as of now until the mouse is fixed

I have had a G402S for almost 3 years. By all accounts, that means that it's coming up on EOL. I'd been searching for a new mouse for quite a while, and finally found this one. It's a good mouse. It's simple to use, but it also has the DPI button. One difference between this and my old one is that I can't go up AND down with DPI. Instead, if I miss my desired option, I have to rotate through again. The other thing is that it's very light. I like my mice to have quite a bit of heft, so even with the (included) weight, I still feel like it's not quite as heavy as my 402s was. After a few weeks, I'm still not used to it. Other than that, it's great. It's a worthy successor to my last mouse.

I seen some reviews about the scroll wheel being tougher to push than most and mine was the same way until after some use it's kind of "broken in" so it's not so stiff. The sensor is great and it fits my hand perfectly, I wear size XL gloves for the most part and I have a hybrid claw/palm grip with this. The Logitech software is pretty simplistic so it's easy to use and save profiles although I don't really change dpi settings from different games since I only play fps. The braided cord is a nice touch so for the price it's been a great pick up.

Always looking toward getting the perfect mouse. I have a g502, g903, ss rival 300, scimitar pro, glaive, and this g403. The g403 wins out of all of these mice when it comes to gaming only beat as a daily driver by the g903 but for how much that mouse costs I am a little disappointed that the g403 outperforms during gaming sessions. Great sensor. Great build quality. Perfect size (for me). Glides very well and lightweight unlike the g502. The rival 300 comes close but the g403 is my go to. Highly recommend!

I'm really happy with this mouse. I was originally using a wireless mouse but I wasn't too happy with it because I do a lot of gaming on my PC. This new mouse is much better and feels like it's going to last for quite awhile. The cord is a sturdy mesh material that won't damage if you bend it like rubber cables. You can also add a nice weight to it if you prefer a bit more substance to your mouse. It fits into my hand well and the side buttons are in a good spot. It's not too fancy and gets the job done. This is a solid choice if you're looking for a cheaper gaming mouse.

I used to use a Microsoft Basic Mouse for gaming as well as other things but it just wasn't holding up anymore, the sensor was really bad at tracking fast movements and it was already falling apart so a new mouse was in order. Got this for $35 and it's amazing! It has what apparently is one of the best sensors out so far and I believe them, the tracking is precise and flicks are accurately registered. It's not the perfect shape but I couldn't care less, wish it was a little smaller although I have pretty large hands. I don't get why a mouse has to have RGB but you can just turn it off which is nice.

I recently purchased the G403 Gaming mouse. I was using a traditional mouse and Keyboard to game with. Using the G403 mouse has improved my gaming experience. With the Logitech software where I can program the mouse to my liking. The weight of the mouse is light and feels solid(also comes with a 10gram coin to add more weight if that's what you prefer). The buttons are responsive and the side buttons are bigger then most other mouse's out making easier for me to use during in game action. The Rgb is nice so can customize it to any color you like.
