The G603 is great and accurate. It's nice to be able to switch between HI and LO modes. Don't use it for gaming so always have in LO mode and haven't had a problem. Love the fact that the top cover on the mouse can open to change batteries and includes a slot to store the USB receiver. Seems the top cover has magnets so it's very easy to open and clean. You can also run it with a single battery on either side for those that prefer lighter mouse. Had a G302 before that would constantly need cleaning as any dust/lint particle would affect it, no issues with the G603 so far.

    My "new" favorite mouse

So far I’m very impressed with this mouse, it has both wireless “with dongle” and Bluetooth built in. I’ve tried the Bluetooth feature out and it works fine, especially for travel, but use wireless and the dongle mainly, it’s just nice to know Bluetooth is built in so you can use it on multiple devices without having to swap around the dongle. It also work with my Nvidia Shield over Bluetooth without a problem. There’s a power switch on the bottom, but instead of the usual On/Off it has a On/Low/High setting. This adjusts the reporting speed from 8ms to 1ms, I prefer the 1ms mode and Logitech states that this will give 500hrs of gaming. On low “8ms” it’s supposed to give up to 18 months of battery life. I’ve been using it a week, leaving it on “High” and have barely made a dent in the batteries that came with it. This is an outstanding improvement so far, it’s much better than my Anywhere Mouse that only lasted a couple weeks on a set of batteries. If you install the Logitech gaming software you can adjust the different DPI sensitivity levels from the ones built in. You can click through the four built in settings by pressing the button just below the scroll wheel. The factory defaults are pretty good but with the software installed you can add/remove how many custom modes you want and adjust them to your liking. These are saved to the device itself so they will stay there if you move the mouse to a machine that doesn’t have the software installed. The scroll wheel is rubber coated and very grippy. The weight isn’t adjustable like my G500s but with the batteries the weight is just about right, and I prefer a heavier mouse to a really light one too. The G500s comes in at 137grams with the weights installed how I like, and the G603 is 135grams so they are almost identical weight wise. The one thing missing is the scroll wheel doesn’t have a Hyperscroll toggle button, but I never use that feature anyway. I really like the design features and the removable top/button piece, this feature is my favorite. It gives easy access to the batteries and the ability to clean the top very easily. The whole thing comes off with a simple lift at the back indented area or just lifting up on one of the button lips. The whole thing is held on by three magnets and they keep the top in place very firmly. The ease of cleaning the whole top side including the buttons has sold me on this unit and wish this feature was available a long time ago. The rest of the mouse is made with matte hard plastic, and I prefer this over the soft sided Anywhere Mouse I also have, it just collects too much oil and dirt making it harder to clean off. For me this is about as perfect as it gets for a mouse, it fits my hand perfectly, it’s smooth and accurate, plus it’s great for gaming.

A great "no-frills" wireless mouse for gamers

SUMMARY: This Logitech G603 is a great wireless mouse for the gamer looking for something that is both comfortable and minimally styled at a price that doesn’t break the bank. PROS: - DPI button is super handy - Mouse is comfortable to use - Lightspeed works great with no stutter or lag - Long battery life CONS: - Computer switching button is on the bottom - Not rechargeable, uses standard AA. - Can’t use Logitech software if mouse connected via Bluetooth For long gamers relied on corded mice for low latency and a dependent connection. With the G603 I’m happy to say that I’ve finally dropped my corded mice for good. The mouse features “Lightspeed” protocol which allows for a crazy 1ms response time. To achieve this Logitech bundles a special cable and wireless adapter that you will leave on your desk next to the mouse pad. Logitech suggests that you keep the mouse within 20cm of the adapter, which means for me that I still have a cable strung across my desk to keep it in range. On the button of the mouse, you have the option to switch between lower and super fast latency rates so you can preserve battery life when you aren’t gaming. If you want to use Bluetooth, that is built in as well. But you won’t be able to use Logitech’s Gaming Software to modify the configuration. They have a button on the mouse that will let you quickly switch between the Lightspeed connection and Bluetooth on another computer. The button is located on the bottom so it’s not the most accessible – Logitech probably does this to avoid any accidental clicks during intense game play. Just something to be aware of if your getting this mouse with the intention of fluid multitasking across multiple computers. The mouse is designed for people who are right-handed and has two buttons where your thumb rests. I found the placement with my medium sized hands to be the right amount of accessible without getting any accidental clicks in there. The mouse itself is minimally styled – you won’t find any crazy RGB lights here which leads to some great battery life – but the styling is still tasteful and ergonomic enough for extended use. The entire top shell of the mouse is magnetically coupled and hides the battery compartment. You can run the mouse on a single battery, which is awesome and convenient. I wish it was rechargeable, but that would bump the price up so it’s a small trade-off to make. The software is great, despite the lack of configuration options when in Bluetooth mode. You can assign buttons to custom hotkeys and system functions as well as track usage during gameplay – all great stuff. You can also create profiles on a per game basis, great for saving time. The software does get bulky if you have other Logitech non-gaming hardware because you’ll also need your Logitech Options software – it would be nice to have a Universal application for everything. In game play I didn’t have any issues with lag, stutter, or missed clicks with the mouse. It’s overall well balanced in click force required and button placement. I tested with on a Logitech G branded mousepad, but it tested well straight on the desk as well. Overall, it’s a great mouse at a great price. It doesn’t have a lot of the crazy frills but it gets the job done as a solid and great performing wireless mouse with some nice little features tucked in.

I am impressed with Logitech's offerings for gaming peripherals lately. Typical Logitech quality paired with wonderful technology. The G603 is an amazing mouse that is quick and responsive. The sides of the mouse are smooth plastic, which is better IMO. None of the rubber that wears down after a while. The mouse features lightspeed wireless technology with amazing battery life! In fact the battery life is what makes the mouse so great. The new processor developed by Logitech for gaming ensures more accuracy and longer power. Other features include programmable buttons, the ability to connect to multiple devices, and on board memory. I am not a gamer, however I found the mouse to be comfortable and responsive. However, for a few bucks more you can step up to the G703.

    Good Small Portable Mouse

I was impressed with the Logitech G603 mouse as I am not a fan of Bluetooth and usually prefer a wired mouse. I decided to try this one out as I needed a portable mouse for my laptop and was pleasantly surprised. The mouse is the right size for portability without it being extremely small for my hands like other mouse's. I was concerned at first when taking it out of the box of how light it felt however once you place the batteries in it, its weighted pretty nicely. Setup was very easy, just plug in play for both the Bluetooth receiver and the mouse once its powered. It comes with an extension USB cord to help provide extra distance if needed. Speaking of distance I was impressed of how far the reach is and how accurate the mouse response was. The clicking is loud and feels plastic however that does not bother me but may bother others if they are in a very quiet setting. Overall I would recommend this product for anyone with large hands looking for a portable mouse that is not too small. Also if you enjoy mouse button customization there is no software bundled with this mouse. You would have to use the windows mouse options or 3rd party to customize configuration. Pros: Replaceable Batteries Bluetooth Distance and Accuracy Size Mouse Button Function Auto Mapped Cons: Plastic Feel Mouse Clicks are loud Lacking Out Of Box Software

Great mouse. A little expensive at MSRP but it's definitely worth picking up on sale. Has the same (or similar shell) to the g403, which is great for people who have average sized/smaller hands. I have tried it for both gaming/productivity and will say that it performs well. If you are someone who thinks that this will weigh a lot, don't worry. It really doesn't weight a lot and you can also remove one of the batteries to lighten it up if so. If you are someone who is looking for the Bluetooth feature, it works very seamlessly and I have had no issues getting it to work (other than the normal weird Bluetooth connectivity).

Logitech - good job. Leading the gaming culture in innovative new ways. I have had no problems with this mouse. Long battery life, good software, accurate response time, Bluetooth and the dongle work perfectly, it’s comfortable, easy to use and change dpi settings, and very attractively priced. If you’re hesitant and looking for a simple gaming mouse, pick this up. You can’t go wrong.

I love this mouse. I have had it for a year and a half years I believe. I have yet to change the batteries it came with and love the different options that come with it. It is super comfortable as well. There is a button behind the wheel of the mouse that changes the mouse speed. Took me a second to realize that. Purple all the way. I barely have to move my mouse and it goes all the way across the screen. There are 4 options btw. The bluetooth and usb adapter both work great. The only time I realize a difference is right when I unplug my usb you might notice it but after 30 second you don't realize the difference for usb or bluetooth.

Although this mouse is tailored towards PC gamers, I use it on a Macbook Pro and I don't play PC games. I simply wanted a sturdy wireless mouse backed by a strong manufacturer warranty. I really wanted to like Apple's Magic Mouse (both 1st and 2nd-gen), but surprisingly didn't like either. This is personal preference, but I found that the flat design of the Magic Mouse didn't contour very well to my hand. The shape of the G603 is more traditional and I think most people will find it to be more familiar and natural for everyday use. Moreover, it feels like a premium product unlike many of the budget mice on the market. My previous mouse of choice was the Logitech MX Master (1st-gen). It was a good mouse, but I had four primary issues with it: 1) unreliable left-click button, 2) jittery scrolling, 3) lack of bluetooth connectivity, 4) short battery life. Now, Logitech offers a fantastic warranty policy and readily offers replacements, but these problems persisted even with the replacement device. The G603 solves all of these issues, and I love that the bluetooth feature renders Logitech's little dongle obsolete. Like I mentioned, I have not used this on a Windows PC nor do I play games on my computer. While Logitech offers additional gaming-oriented customization features for Windows, I don't think they're Mac-compatible. If you're like me though, you probably won't care. This is simply a great mouse for everyday desktop use.

I purchased this mouse for everyday use and occasional gaming. The main driver for the purchase was the fact that it has both Bluetooth and lightspeed connectivity. This enables me to use the mouse on two computers at one time by clicking on the small button on the bottom of the mouse. This is exactly what I wanted as I have two computers, one for home use and the other for work. This functionality allows me to easily switch between the two and has eliminated the need for a KVM switch and cables which significantly cleaned up my desktop and cable management. For gaming this mouse is flawless. Absolutely love this mouse.

I was looking at wireless gaming mice for a new desk set up where wires were constantly catching because of the layout. Decided to switch from Razer Deathadder to Logitech, whom I haven't used for some time. So far the G603 has been great, with a shape and ergonomics that remind me of the old Logitech MX518 or G5 mice that I used to use. It's still early, so I haven't had a chance to get an idea of battery life but so far so good and I switch it off between uses. Performance is excellent, and I don't notice any difference going from a wired mouse to this one.

I decided to move to a wireless gaming mouse because of my desk orientation and switched from Razer peripherals to Logitech. Very happy with the G603 so far, love the different latencymodes (8 ms vs 1 ms modes for general use vs gaming) and the batteries haven't had to be changed yet months after ownership. Latency hasn't been an issue moving to wireless in games as a heavy PC gamer, and the shape is reminicent of other classic Logitech mice like the G500 or MX518 series mice.

I never realized the functionality I was missing gaming with a basic mouse. Not only is this the most comfortable mouse I have used, but having variable mouse speeds and programmable buttons has changed my gaming. I didn't need any more bells and whistles than this provided and extremely happy with this purchase.

The G603 is by far my favorite wireless mouse to date. I have owned several over the years. Always went back to wired mice due to the lag I would experience in games. Logitech has worked some magic in their current line up of mice and reduced the input lag to nearly zero. Great battery life. Nice weight to it (I prefer a heavier mouse). My only real complaint is that it is a smooth surface all the way around, I would prefer a rubberized texture for extra grip, but this is a minor complaint. Overall, my favorite mouse to date.
