It was very easy to set up. Only took about 15 minuets. It does help to have all the model numbers of you equipment written down. Also have your settings written down, like which input you cable box is assigned. Also I liked the fact it has rechargeable battries. About one a week I throw it on the charger at night when i go to bed. It is the same charger I use for my phone. Makes it easy.

I was apprehensive at first but went with it to eliminate the need for multiple remotes. It's amazing! The help feature assists you and makes sure everything is working like you want it to.

Remote synched with TV, TIVO box. Blu-ray player and stereo receiver flawlessly through the web interface. Setting up macros for activities was pretty simple. At first it seemed like you had to power everything off to switch from one activity to another but hitting the help command after devices did not configure themselves properly solved this issue instantly. Saved many hours not having to manually program the remote as I have with other learning remote controls.

The remote itself is great, easy to set up and easy to use- even for a non tech savvy person like me. Haven't had to charge the batteries yet! The Best Buy employee told me it would work with my Amazon Fire TV. I specifically asked him if it would. I had the older version (500 I believe) in my hand and he upsold me to this one so it would work with my Fire TV. It doesn't!!

This remote always works. Sometimes when I hit the activity button (such as watch Bluray) to turn on the systems my receiver would revert back to "TV". However, I adjusted the settings on the remote so that the TV would turn on first and others would follow. This way I don't have to hit the Help button. I like lots of buttons because it makes using the remote more efficient. The screen is helpful, but the interface is way too time consuming when configuring the screen when you have tons of options like I do for my receiver. But, I can totally customize which order the options show up on the screen. I wish it were radio frequency and I wish it had a cradle for charging so I wouldn't have to connect it to the charger. Other than that, it's a great remote. For beginners I could see how they could get frustrated with how to use the remote. It takes time to understand the concept of using the activity buttons and switching from device to device.

Went from 3 remotes down to 1. Easy set up and easy to use. Best of all don’t have to remember channel numbers as lets me present a number of changes with names and not numbers.

Easy to set up, had all the components of my system in the database. Once set up it took a few minutes to go over the controls for each unit, but after that it was ready to go.

I have been looking for a remote like this for some time. All the remotes in the past were ridiculously expensive! I bought this one as it was at a good price and what I was looking for. I charged it up then hooked up to my PC to program. It was fast and easy to do and was intuitive. Been using it for a few weeks and has performed well. I would recommend this remote to anyone looking for a good price and ease of use.

I love this universal remote and it's the newest version of the previous generation 650 model. I like that it is all black and it feels pretty good so far. I haven't had any issues other than the tv and cable power getting out of sync but the help button fixes everything. Patience is key when using technology and I must say the setup didn't require too much patience. Enjoy your remote, next purchase will be the smart phone controlled remote.

Easy setup, good device coverage, user friendly. This remote replaces 4 different remotes I had for my setup. So happy to only need one.

I have had several Harmony remotes over the years. They are easy to program and even customize select buttons to every known electronic component. This was a replacement for an older Harmony remote. It simply transfers all the previous set programming to the new remote. Very easy and it works great!> Highly recommend Harmony remotes if you want to get rid of all those component remotes and make watching simple and easy.

Very easy to setup and use. Bought it hoping to consolidate remotes, but still ended up using Xfinity remote for voice commands.

Setting this up was very easy on a Mac. Using the controller is very intuitive. However, you do have to wait sometimes up to 10 seconds for a complex action to occur. An example would be turning on the TV, then the Receiver to the right input, then a Cable Box. I'm ok with it.

Bought this remote after talking with salesperson. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. This product was super easy to set up and works great with all my devices.

This remote does it all. I have equipment that is discontinued and the remote had stopped working, other universal remotes had only limited functionality, now all of my components are controlled by this single remote, and it still feels like I am using the original remotes. I am considering buying another; one for me, and one for the other remote hog in my family. However, sharing would be the adult thing to do... :-)

Great universal remote. Controls my TV, DVR, Bluray player and home theater receiver. Also it has 4 memory settings that turns on each device that you need. If I want to watch a Bluray it'll turn on my TV, BD player and home theater system. It's also rechargeable which is nice. I just hope the rechargeable batteries last for years. So far a great remote

This is the best Harmony remote in my opinion. I don't know what Logitech's thinking behind removing the numbers keys from the most recent remotes or thinking that it's faster to pull out your smartphone to use the missing features. If you want a remote that's going to work with all your devices and still have number keys to tune to channels, then this is the remote for you. I own 3 of these remotes and might buy more to keep as backups if Logitech is going to keep going the direction they have been.

i always buy when on sale. this is the chargeable unit. buy when on sale and and replace the battery units. Harmony is a great product with ease and support.
