Another great remote from Logitech
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must say this is my third Harmony remote that I as using in my household and it works great. I use this remote to control all my outdoor equipment. Simple to setup, easy to use and I can say goodbye to the 4 remotes that I was using outside (Roko, cable box, TV, sound bar). I would highly recommend any Harmony remote.

A step backwards
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the harmony one and the paint was starting to rub off the buttons and it has seen some pretty excessive wear over time. It was time to upgrade. So bestbuy had a deal on this for $100 so I figured why not. the touch screen is pretty cool but the battery life and the placement of the play fst forward etc is poorly placed you have to use 2 hands or shift the remote down to access these. I do like the channel presets that almost completely removes the need for the number keys. all in all I will still replace my remote but the poor battery life is disappointing.

SO FAR VERY NICE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could not resist this remote, Best Buy deal of the day for $80. I have other Logitech remotes, this one is so much nicer , it's smaller and I like that. The only problem I had was setting it up. I had to call Logitech Tech for help. Within 10 minutes my problem was resolved and everything so far is working great. Very easy to use, Setup was a bit hard for me, I almost returned this , glad I didn't . Another great product from Logitech, worth $80, I would not have paid the original price for this , which is like $250 but for $80 it was a steal!! I am still experimenting with this. I need to work on controlling some of my game systems. It works great with the XBOX ONE & XBOX 360. The PS4 is a bit of a problem. I have to do some researching on how to get this remote to work with the PS4, if possible?!

would be great ... if it worked
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still trying to get to this work with current video equipment. Called tech support and they said for some reason the Volume UP on my tv won't register to the remote, and they were supposed to update it online, but still haven't been able to after a week. Pretty frustrating. That aside, assuming this will work eventually, it seems pretty easy to use, although holding it in one hand is awkward of you want to use any button besides the touch screen. But I guess they had to make a choice which would be easy to press, and they chose the screen over all other functions

Really want to love it, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be fair, the product works very well. Typical good build quality for this brand, and I really like the textured material used on the back of the remote (helps with gripping the unit). You may want to consider my two gripes: 1) No way to enter a channel number. You can pre-program your desired channels, but there is no way other than the channel up/down and arrow keys to change channels. I think they should have a soft keyboard function since there are no number keys. 2) I hate that I have now have to use two different software applications to program my various logitech remote. Big miss and inconvenience!

Good but can be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Harmony One for years, and was always interested in the new line. When I got this, the first thing I noticed was that the interface on the touchscreen is much improved, but after using it for a little over a week I can say that the button placement of the pause and fast-forward buttons make handling it awkward. My palm will swipe the touchscreen when trying to rewind the DVR because I have to reach for the rewind, FF, and play/pause buttons. Other than that, it is a great remote.

Almost great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product had the potential to be 5 stars. There are a couple of things that hold it back. The person who made the design decision to place the Play/FF/REW/PAUSE buttons at the top of this controller should be fired. How did it go through product testing and anyone think this was comfortable. The screen should have been at the very top with these buttons just below where it is comfortable for your thumb to access. Now that I am done with my complaint, the remote is solidly built. The physical buttons feel good and you can tell when you are pressing them. I like the minimalist approach to the layout. It's not so intimidating. My wife always hates it when I buy a new remote because she has to "learn" how to operate it. She saw this and instantly fell in love. I do recommend this remote, but the button layout could have been a lot better. This was a miss that didn't have to happen.

Harmony quality remote as usual
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily programmed this remote . Still getting used to touch screens and how to navigate . Used to a Harmony One but this remote seems very easy to use and I just need to tweak the operation since some of the components turn on when not needed but probably my fault. Will go on line and fix the settings . Happy with this unit and especially the price from Best Buy. Multiple family members bought them on my advice and are happy they did.

Good but needs 1 major feature
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this remote but it needs a few tweaks. I use this remote with Comcast's xfinity X1 system and Apple TV. I still need three remotes due to the lack of a microphone on this remote. This is becoming a standard feature on new entertainment devices and should be included on any universal remote. Second, the size and location of some of the primary buttons, like Guide, are less than optimal in my opinion.

Good remote, frustrating to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent remote for what it does. Had no issues setting it up and having it control all of our devices. However, the easy setup does not translate to easy use. Unlike our other Harmony remote with physical buttons, there is a lot of "menu searching" in order to find the right command since there are limited buttons. Additionally, the touch screen is nice, but it's too easy to activate in normal use. I cannot count the number of times I have accidentally pressed the screen and activated a completely different action when I was just attempting to fast forward or rewind. Additionally, there are no physical number buttons, so if you want to type in a channel directly, you either have to scroll through the "favorites" or try to use the finicky touch screen number pad. I would recommend getting a non-touch screen Harmony remote. It's not as advanced, but it's much easier to use, speaking from the experience of having used both.

Perfect remote for multiple media sources
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced an older version that had some glitches. This setup was easy. Controls Samsung TV, cable box, Sonos sound bar, Apple TV, Panasonic DVD. Press one button and you have control of all of the correct devices.

The ease of Logitech setup & compact design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using the Harmony 880 and the One, I set my eyes on this model. First off the bat the remote is smaller than it's predecessors and has a nice layout to grip. The backing seems to be made of better material than the disastrous material used on the One. The docking station also takes up a small footprint. The LCD is responsive with the finger swipes and you can easily get to various menus by simply swiping left or right. Overall, you won't be disappointed and you won't regret the purchase. CONS: Button layouts. The most used buttons should be all bunched up together. The LCD should be positioned at the top and not the middle. Also I could go without the glossy finish as it's a finger print magnet and as such is constantly showing smudges. The shape of the remote bottom is rather odd and as such, make rock back and forth and is more prone to rolling over or off a table. PROS: Fast response time without tinkering the delay options. Good size. Good grip.

Easy to use and great design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up through the online tool. It's nice to be able to set up your favorite channels and customize the buttons. It fits well in the hand and has a nice docking station that doesn't take up much real estate on the end table.

Really like the remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this remote to replace a Philips remote that had been programmed by an AV company years ago and wasn't sure Inwould be able to figure out our complicated system but it was easy and quick. I read lots of reviews and waited almost a year before purchasing and it seems that many of the bugs have been worked out. Users need to read the instructions and get all the information in order before starting but I found it to be very easy.

Love my new remote!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Harmony was easy to set up. Just make sure you follow all of the instructions! I was able to eliminate 5 remotes with just one Harmony! It was pricey so I waited for a Best Buy deal of the day and got it at a reasonable price.

Cool remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this remote as part of a daily deal ($99). It is a great remote and enjoy using the touch screen functions. The only drawbacks are that the physical play, pause, FF, RW buttons are at the top of the unit so it is kind of inconvenient when you are trying to reach for the physical button and the other drawback is the battery life is not great. But overall super happy with the purchase.

Complicated setup but, great to use once it is
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little device. It allows me to put the other remotes up and not use them at all. It was easy to get the settings from the previous remote copied to this one. The one thing I don't like is that to even begin making any changes to the devices or buttons the remote has to be hooked up to the computer. It would be nice to be able to make changes, THEN hook it up to synch the changes.

Great universal remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like even thou you have to power it when battery gets low about every 3 days. You can use your satellite or cable remote instead while your universal remote is powering up. Has lots of good features.

Great time saver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to simplify a pretty complicated set up in the living room. This removes at least 3 other remotes from the living room. My favorite feature is the ability to set up tasks - like watch TV or watch Movie. These controls will automatically turn on the TV, set the right input, and turn on any other devices. This saves me from having to explain to guests how to work the set up. The software used to program the remote is very simple and should be easy for most to follow. Another feature I like is the ability to dive deeper into menu features. This requires a closer look at the remote but it can be done to adjust a setting on the receiver, tv, etc. Battery life is pretty good - probably about a week.
