I love this remote. It is fun and cool to use. The drawbacks are the price (I had some reward zone credit and gift cards that brought the price down for me) and the battery life can get pretty bad with a lot of use of the touchscreen but this is a great remote.

Who Needs a Harmony Remote? YOU DO!

I've owned 5 Harmony remotes and I still use all 5. Easy setup? You bet! Plug it into your computer, punch in your components and click update. Don't like something? Customize it! Then everything is one button to activate. Watch a blu ray, play CDs, watch TV all with the click of a single button and all the correct components turn on and all the others turn off.

After Geek Squad set-up, this remote handles all of the options and features with our new tv--sound, blu-ray, internet access, even an old video player for kids' movies--with no trouble. The sliding screens and touch pad like a smartphone make it intuitive to use, also. It was a bit expensive and we had the professionals set it up, making it more expensive, but worth it so far!

I already had an IR repeater system set up, so this was a great addition. I use the wifi-based home companion for a different room, and definitely like the features of that model. When using this IR model, you can still set it up to switch inputs for a bluetooth device, and then switch to that remote. Not perfect, but ok. I like the mini screen and the favorites for TV. Good buy.

This is my second Harmony remote. I first purchased a Harmony 1100 which was nice at the time but now is a piece of junk as it hasn't kept up with technology, Because it was $350.00 I feel it should have. This one though was 10 times faster to setup and I'm still learning all its features but has been a great remote and controls all my equipment.

The touch can be paired with the Logitech RF hub for hidden cabinet or closet installs. The touch is perfect for 3 or more connected devices including Sonos soundbars that use IR technology. The ultimate and home control versions react a little faster but the trade off for value is worth the purchase. Even obscure audio video brands are supported as downloadable templates. A computer with internet is required for the top three models.

I upgraded to the Harmony Touch. I love the size and functionality. I like that you can program your favorite channels in the remote. One main issue I have is that the battery life is not that long and there is no audible warning notification other than looking at the indicator on the screen. It just dies and needs immediate charging. Other than that it's a nice gadget to use in lieu of many remotes.

I have had a Harmony remote for years my old one was dropped about 100 times i had to actually tape the battery in it but it still works today. My wife got me this new one for Christmas and I have to say its really nice. Haven't dropped it at all because it is smaller and has a very good grip to it. The only think i had to get used to was the touch screen for my number keys I did like having number keys on the old one. Overall though i love it works great turns on my stereo receiver and Directv all at once and then if i want to play ps4 I just push 1 touch screen button for ps4 and its all changed over. The remote will not turn on or control the ps4 but, I do it from the ps4 controller. Great remote to own if you are tired of having a handful of remotes to turn the tv to what you want to watch or do.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it! This is our 4th Harmony remote and the touch screen options on this one are so easy to use. Even the babysitter (Grandma) was able to quickly learn how to use it! Love, love our new Harmony!!

I have had most harmony remotes in existence. I wanted the touch because it is smaller, lighter and takes up less room on side table in charger. I also was hoping the set up process would be easier and that Logitech might have improved on the operation of the touch remote in ways not acknowledged in their literature so as not to hurt sales of other previous models. With one of my old 650 models I was always using the help button...annoying. The harmony one model while fine was large, heavier and has more buttons than I need. After reading many bad reviews on the touch, I went ahead and bought at BB figuring if I couldn't make it work satisfactorily I would have to return after wasting a few hours. Now that it is working after three calls to tech support it seems to be a decent remote. One thing I learned is that if you or someone in your house manually turns your components off such as tv, receiver or DVD player, the remote doesn't know this and thinks these things are still on. Then when you return later to turn them on using the remote it doesn't work, because it thinks your components were never turned off. So...when you return it's a good idea to hit the off button on your remote first. Then when you turn everything on with your remote it will work correctly. The remote needs to be used to both turn your system on and to turn your system off for it to work right. Otherwise you are going to need to hit the question mark on the screen which is the help button to sort the weirdness out. I also learned you can set the way the signal transmits from the remote from the LCD screen in device settings. This I used too to improve performance of the touch. I noticed that sometimes I would hit a command and my component would not respond. Then I saw that there was a small protective cellophane sticker on the transmitter window of the remote I had failed to remove. This, tech support did not tell me I had to figure out on my own. As to the speediness of the device, it is fast. I use a Pioneer elite receiver, Tivo hd dvr, Panasonic blu ray and Panasonic plasma tv. So far the remote appears to be more advanced than my harmony one with regard to an iPhone like touch screen with gesture control. As to the complaints that the fast forward, rewind, pause and play buttons being on the top instead of the bottom where they belong, those complaints are valid. I haven't had trouble reaching up to control them however I would like them better if they were below. Lastly, there is a new user interface web page set up process at my harmony.com that seems friendlier. In summary, I would buy this device again knowing that it is easier to call tech support than to get frustrated not setting it up perfectly. Buy if you are willing to ask Logitech for help when setting up your new touch remote then you will probably have a good experience.

To be honest, I got this for $99 of Cyber Monday. But even if I didn't it is worth the full price. Pretty easy to setup, always charged, and easy to use.

Picked up this remote during a sale with a price that was too good to not pick up. Setting up the device was fairly easy using software on my computer. Not much support in terms of sound bars but nothing I couldn't get around. The remote works pretty well on my Vizio TV and Sounbar and decent enough controlling my Apple TV 4K box.

It is easy to set up, and has the capacity for all of the functions I will need. It is well balanced. The no-slip finish on the back is nice, but the device is a bit hard to operate one handed for children or persons with small hands.

I absolutely love this remote! I have had several all in one remotes and none compare to this. I can control EVERYTHING with this one!! I have an Apple TV, cable box, sound bar, play station 3, and Wii....it controls it all! I did need to purchase a receiver that I plugged into the ps3 but it wasn't too expensive. It automatically turns on and off the needed components and changes the input with the touch of one touch screen button. I would recommend this to anyone!

Got this to replace our failing harmony 880.The battery in the new remote only lasts a few days and dies when the remote shows it still has life left.I like the charger compared to the last on.It feels great in your hand. Also having a set up issue logitech can't seem to get adjusted right for us.It turns everything on -the receiver starts producing sound then stops for 5-6 seconds then comes back. After 2 hours with tech support i gave up.
