Clarity of the webcam is good and I appreciate the 360 degree rotation feature that helped me to rotate it in the direction I needed. Easy or almost no installation required. I just plugged in and played from my windows 10 laptop. Setup time is less than 5 minutes.

I bought this webcam to have as a front facing webcam on my laptop. I use it to record presentations in presentation skills classes I teach. The video quality is great and the sound too. Guy

The Logitech HD Webcam C525 was a total fail on my Windows-7 PC, although it worked OK when I plugged it into my Win-10 laptop. All of the "advice" on the Logitech support website failed to help, and in fact following some of those recommendations caused a much bigger problem that took me an entire day to resolve. Although the recommendations on other sites for this device looked good, I should have checked the support site 1st. It's especially aggravating to see a problem that the company has known about for years - audio works but no video - with no resolution from Logitech.

A few months ago, my 13-year-old daughter and some of her friends started skyping and some other stuff using video (don't recall which service) to work together on homework, to plan their get-togethers, and to just generally mess around. The camera built into the laptop worked, but her friends said the picture was really grainy. I went to Best Buy, spent about 10 minutes comparing cameras, and bought this one. She definitely didn't need some high-end expensive camera. Positive: Nice picture. Her friends say that her video is the best of the group. Easy set up. Basically, we plugged it in and it worked. Negatives: Folding z-shaped clip to hold it on to the laptop lid isn't very strong, so it sometimes gets loose enough to fall off. We had a couple of situations where the laptop stopped recognizing the camera. So far, I haven't been able to troubleshoot whether this is a problem with the camera or the laptop. Another positive: 13-year-old daughter is very happy with it!

I had just purchased a wonderful larger screen for my desktop and discovered it didn't have a built in camera. DILEMMA MAJOR. I thought of returning the monitor but it was a great deal and I loved it. I reviewed several webcam on line and decided upon the Logitech C525. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. It has a very stylish look. Easy to connect and use. I was concerned about having an attachment on my monitor thinking it would not last long before being knocked off but it's design doesn't give the bulky appearance one might expect. Although it is an attachment it appears to be part of the monitor. The webcam also has its own docking shelf that makes it easy to adjust if needed. Great picture views and the wire connections don't bring attention to it. A wonderful webcam for those who need a functional webcam that is great for the whole family and excellent for having face time with your special someone during those times apart. Excellent choice at a great price.

Purchased to use with Go-To-Meeting. The camera worked great! Has easy to use controls, was easy to setup and allow the group on the call to see a live white board from 10 ft away from the camera. Only disadvantage was it was a bit difficult to stabilize, but it worked very well once we found a way to stabilize the camera.

The camera functions great. Nice Picture. The screen mount is the only thing i do not like. It does not have a very large lip on the front and it slips off my laptop screen every once and a while. Other than that it is a great purchase.

Sleek, compact and portable. Easy setup and user friendly. Works well in low light. Good microphone. Bought it on sale for about $40 and happy with its overall performance.

I couldn't find a camera that would work with my Smart TV, so I bought this one to use with my computer to Skype. Set-up was simple. Easy to use. Good picture and sound quality.

We purchased this webcam in order to talk via Skype with my sister-in-law. Telephone conversations with her were not clear, but have been able to visit with her much easier now. Installation was a snap. Wasn't sure how to attach the webcam to my computer monitor so it is just sitting there and that is fine. It has a nice wide screen so both my husband and I can talk with her at the same time. If the picture that shows up on my computer of the two of us is what family is seeing, the picture appears clear.

I bought this webcam for a last minute online job interview. While I saw some of the more expensive models online, I didn't want to spend as much considering I really only needed it for one occasion. Setup was simple and I was very pleased with the resolution.

Bought this for our desktop when our laptop with integrated camera died. Better resolution and low light response than the old one. Easy set-up. Only quibble is the 'clamp' isn't very adjustable and on top of our thin monitor, it is kind of balanced and sometimes tilts or even falls off.

Picked this Webcam for streaming CS GO ( twitch/macklinfbi ) , plenty of features and works great in various lighting situations. Webcams costing twice as much offered little to no benefit over this one. Don't use the mic so no comment there. Def recommend!
