If you're going to be using your tablet as a reader only, this case is inexpensive and it serves its purpose (basic protection & cover screen when not in use). I needed something to would also act as a stand, so I already replaced it with another hinge case.

My daughters really like them. Wish there are more color options. Stand & sleep function is a nice touch. The charging port is a bit restrictive for some 3rd party cables.

I used to have an Apple smart cover on my iPad mini. I loved how lightweight and low profile it was, but the functionality of using it to angle the iPad for viewing or typing just wasn't great. I decided to try this case when I saw it on sale, and I've been very happy with my purchase. It's a little heavier and bulkier than I expected, but my iPad is so much more usable everywhere I go that I haven't minded the weight. The adjustable angle works great, and is stable enough to play games or type on the iPad easily. I also like that the parts of the case that touch the screen do NOT touch the table or whatever other surface you set up on, thus keeping your screen cleaner.

I use this case all day long in the living room and kitchen, both standing up and sitting down. The continuous hinge feature allows easy adjustment for any angle of viewing and also for nearly flat typing surface which means no separate keyboard required for me. The back folds back almost flat for comfortably holding in "book" position for reading. The mini (first gen) snaps securely into the case. It's a little heavier than other cases but well worth the trade off for full protection and versatility. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing product for such a low price!!! It protects every corners of my iPad without adding too much weight. It does have magnetic closure featuring auto wake/sleep (the description on the product's cover failed to mention this). In addition, the viewing angles will adjust to my every needs and hold the position steadily. Overall, this product met up to it's expectation!!!

The IPad case looks good and functions well! I can watch movies easily with the adjustable-angle design.

I have the lovely black and white pattern case. It's sturdy enough yet still has an elegance to it so that the Mini doesn't appear or feel heavy and clunky. When used as a stand, it's sturdy. Wonderful product.

Overall good case. It does what it should. It avoids what it shouldn't. No issues with plugs/adapters.

Not my favorite case. I don't really care for the cloth texture but it does it's job.

Love the case and the way it looks. It's light weight and thin. My only complaint would be that when you fold the cover behind the case it doesn't completely line up - it's a little crooked.

Only issue is this case makes the iPad Mini almost double the weight of the iPad itself. While this one will be used for traveling (protection is great), I have chosen to use another, lighter case for everyday use. This one is great if you have a habit of dropping your tablet, or need protection that is not as obtrusive (or not-so-stylish) as Otterbox products. Is it a bad idea to have two different types of cases? No way! This will be, as I said before, great for when you're not tooling-around the house or at the local coffeehouse.

Fits great. This case doesn't feel bulky & fits in my purse.

Usually I have a problem with how a view my ipad but this case makes it easy for me to adjust in any type of area. Sometimes my previous cases would collapse because they couldn't handle the angle I adjusted them to, but this one works just as advertised. I wish it would come in other colors but other than that, amazing product!

great durable case that works well with auto wake.

I purchase the case as a gift for my mother. It is just what she needed and works great.

It's been almost a month now since I had this case. The hinge stiffness didn't change at all which is great. I had soy sauce on the outside cover which I easily wiped off using a damp cloth in war water. It's a money well spent :)

I purchased this case a second time because I had dropped my ipad mini in an identical case and the mini survived unscathed. The case broke but in the process protected the ipad. Sad about the case but happy for the ipad.

Not my favorite case. But the cloth texture is real nice to hold onto.
