The MEVO Company did an excellent job with the design of this camera focusing on key things like FHD-1080P streaming, long battery life, ability use with LTE and we are looking forward for the multi-camera APP. Definitely recommend this product for live streaming!! Can also be used as a webcam.

It is very user friendly hooking up to your phone or tablet and wifi very quickly. From there you can connect to a number of different streaming services or an NDI connection. The company is also adding features.

I had so many problems with connecting camera to internet and then my phone at the same time. Never could get full court coverage and couldn't zoom out.

Posted .Hello BKKT! Sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience with your Mevo Start Live Streaming HD Action Camera. In regards to streaming, you don't necessarily need to have a microSD inside the Mevo Camera to start recording, but we recommend everyone does, so that a backup recording is saved while you are streaming. If you lose connection, the recording will save on the SD card that you can share later. But yes, you do need an internet connection for streaming. It takes a little getting used to control it from the smartphone. For me, I was just looking to record a video to be edited later. So I had to record to an SD card and then remove it to transfer to my computer. Wish it wasn't that many steps invloved.
