Highly recommend for anyone that needs to use a keyboard with ipad Pro. I will say that I rarely use it but when I need it, it clips on very fast and easy and that is worth a lot to me. There is no need for pairing or anything like that. The buttons are very nice when typing, perfect size. It protects it as a case as well but it does make it much heavier. I took one star off for that.

If you have a need for typing on an iPad and love the instant on capabilities of the iPad, then buy this now. Do not hesitate, it is a great piece and I have had many iPad keyboards dating back to my first iPad 1st Generation and this one is the best ever. I work outside the office most of the time and I have been balancing portability and productivity where an iPad is completely portable, a 2 in 1 laptop that is portable in the car and more productive to type reports in the field, to a desktop computer in my office that is 100% productive but would look funny bouncing around the truck. Now the iPad just too a big step forward in productivity the Logitech Slim Keyboard. In comes the Logitech Slim Keyboard for my iPad Pro and I have to say, this just too the iPad Pro 10.5 and iPad Air 3 to a new productivity level. I can actually type in a document faster than a regular laptop because the keyboard feels so natural to use. With arrows left and right as well as up and down (up and down are keys that most do not have), you can maneuver through a spreadsheet with ease. Oh yeah, it is a lot cheaper than any direct Apple offerings and that allows me to buy a nice se of earbuds (which you control the volume from this keyboard). Really look at the keyboard controls. It is worth it. This one does not have the track pad and if I was to purchase another one, I might want the track pad and make this a laptop killer. People complain that the keyboard detaches too easy. I have not found this the case. It doesn’t fall off and it separates easy for using your iPad without it attached. Oh yeah. I wrote this review on the keyboard. Sorry it was so long but it is that easy to type.

A comfortable backlit keyboard. Secure and sturdy. Keyboard separation is easy. If you want to type using the keyboard, make sure you have a desk or table as it's uncomfortable on your lap. The unit itself also adds some weight to the iPad. But it provides excellent protection against drops. Has a convenient Apple Pencil holder.

The Logitech keyboard case may be the best option for the iPad Pro tablet. The feel is good, it has a backlight and it is about $30 cheaper than the Apple keyboard. Give the Logitech a shot and I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This is a good alternative for those that don't want to spend close to $200 on a smart keyboard from Apple. It connects to the built-in smart connector to the iPad and draws power to illuminate the back-light (which you can adjust brightness). The keyboard tends to slip off the smart connector from time to time, which stops the keyboard from working for a few seconds before it connects. On it's own, the keyboard/case is light and thin...but after adding it to the iPad (iPad Pro 1st gen, 9.7") it makes the iPad somewhat bulky/heavy (which is nice, cause you get some additional protection on the device if you drop it). If you are looking to keep it light and slim, and limited on space, this might not be the best option. For the price, not a bad deal, keyboard works as it should.

I LOVE this thing. I hate typing on a screen - and this basically turns my iPad Pro into a computer that I can legitimately work on that doesn't feel foreign or feigned. LOVE it. And it holds my pencil. I can't believe they're making cases for these things that doesn't hold the pencil but this one securely handles it. Another added bonus for this is the keyboard pops off from the magnetic quick connect, and then you can use the prop thing on the back to read, watch Netflix or whatever. Love this thing. Super recommend.

I have numerous keyboards for the iPad Pro 10.5. I have the Apple Smart Keyboard, the Zagg Rugged Messenger, numerous folding Bluetooth keyboards, and now this Logitech Slim Combo. Each keyboard has it’s pros and cons. The Apple Smart Keyboard is the slimmest and uses the Smart Connector but the keys don’t have backlighting and feel just okay. The Zagg Rugged Messenger has a better keyboard which is backlit but is bulky and uses Bluetooth. Bluetooth can connect to two devices, which is nice, but it’s still Bluetooth. All the foldable Bluetooth keyboards are not part of a case and have to be carried separately and you’ll need a case for your iPad. Plus again Bluetooth, which can go to sleep and you have to hit a key to wake the keyboard up after a few minutes of inactivity. This Logitech Slim Combo has a nice stand for the iPad with multiple angles. The keyboard feels really nice, has backlighting and uses the Smart Connector so no Bluetooth issues. The only con I see with this is the bulk it adds to the iPad. If you don’t mind the bulk, I highly recommend this Logitech Slim Combo.

I like the way this case easily comes apart when I just want to use the ipad with the little stand and not the keyboard. The way the two pieces connect with magnets is pretty cool. However, the two pieces slide around as there is no way to secure them. Not a problem most of the time.

Overall I really like this keyboard case better than the apple version. I love that it has a hard case that protects around the edges of my iPad in case I drop it. I really love that the keyboard disconnects. The stand is very secure when open. It has a bigger footprint than the apple version with the keyboard connected but I am willing to accept that for all of the extra features the apple version doesn’t have. My apple keyboard case was under a year old and the connector was already showing serious wear. The connector between the keyboard and iPad is designed different in this keyboard. The connector does not have to bend in the same way which is what I think causes all the wear on the apple version. This keyboard is more compact than the keyboard on a regular laptop. I personally find it easier to type on. I also liked that this was the only keyboard case, other than the apple version, that I could find that has the smart connector. I do not want the hassle of having to worry about charging my keyboard. The unit is a little heavier overall with the case versus the apple keyboard case but I think it’s worth it for the extra protection it gives the iPad and the fact that the keyboard easily detaches. With the keyboard detached the overall footprint of the unit is quite small. I have been using this keyboard case for a few weeks now and have no complaints.

This is a nice keyboard. Much better than Apple keyboard. This product not only provides you with a keyboard, but it also provide you with a case that protects your iPad Pro. The keyboard lights up when you first open it which is a plus and also is great when using in dark or low lighting. Keyboard also allows you to use the shortcut features that Apple keyboard has. If logitech was able to add a trackpad/touchpad, it would’ve been a fantastic thing.

iPad case and keyboard was very protective it was just a little bulky for me.

My backlit keyboard is excellent. It is easy to use and works well for my large finger tips

apple brand smart keyboard failed on my. this ones backlit and protective. makes the ipad quite heavier and bulkier. but keybaord is easily removed (magnet) to slim it down for reading/drawing/etc

As a protective case, it works well. Not bulky, and stylishly textured to retrieve from a bag easily. The stand is quite impressive. It’ll stay in any position out to 90 degrees very steadily. And the keyboard is perfect for my fingers and speed. The back light is great, except that it turns off too quickly and to turn it back on requires tapping any key, followed then by the “DELETE” key. However, my issue is the magnetic attachment. It is lacking, causing the keyboard to detatch too easily. I will say, though, that the keyboard can fall down a flight of hardwood stairs and keep right on going!!

Overall it is a very nice device. But a little on the chunky side. So I returned it to get the Apple keyboard. I what I miss already with the logi keyboard is that it has backlighting. And was very good and keeping the iPad safe. I may go back and get it again later on. I love the keys on it and how they flowed with my fingers as I typed. I’m still getting used to the Apple keyboard.

I purchased the keyboard/case combo for not only protection for my iPad, but easier use for searching and typing.

Wanted to protect my new iPad. I chose this because it has a flip out stand and the keyboard detaches very easy so it won’t drain the battery. Also like that the keyboard lights up. Even without the keyboard attached it is a little weighty but I feel like it’s well protected.

Great protection from both sides. Keyboard with backlight which is very helpful while typing in the dark

I really love this keyboard case for my ipad. It has kept it safe in its sturdy cover. I love how you can disconnect the keyboard and just use the ipad or connect it when you need to type. While in school, I would use the pen to take notes so was able to easily disconnect bottom when I didnt use it. The cover for the ipad is thick and keeps it safe in my backpack with all of my stuff. The only issue I would say that I didnt like is it would sometimes pop out and I didnt notice it until the ipad fell forward. It did not happen a lot but it did happen a few times. I love how the keyboard has a light and lights up once you connect it or start typing. Its a little thicker than the apple one, but its all about what you prefer.
