Bought these to replace 20 year old speakers. No surround sound, but nice bass and stereo sound. Easy setup. I'd highly recommend these speakers.

Bought these speakers for my gaming PC. They look great and sound even better. They are very loud if you want it and the quality stays clear.
The bass is STRONG.
very pleased

Best computer speakers I have owned. Plenty of bass to rattle the walls. A lot louder than I ever thought possible form these speakers. They sound great listening to music & watching movies.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Knowing our product is working well for you makes all the difference. Thanks for being with Logitech.

I bought these Logitech speakers because of the rave reviews I've seen on the internet. I had the Z313 speakers prior to buying these. They are fine speakers, but I've been looking for louder speakers for playing music from the computer. These fit the bill just great! The highs are high, and the lows are super low! The sound is true. You get a lot of bass for the money with the Z623's. I have a higher-end sound card in my computer, coupled with mostly lossless files I play through it.
Now comes the negative: It's easy to throw these speakers into distortion! Turning the bass up too much, even halfway at times, results in stressing out the main speakers. I do have my sound card set on the brightest setting at a 24-bit 192k sampling rate. It's as if the speaker doesn't have enough throw, or could benefit from venting the cabinet a little better. The sub is the same way. Turn the bass dial up a little too high, and I start hearing vibration or distortion from the cabinet. I guess that's what separates a sub-$150 set of speakers over an entire stereo system.
All in all, the Z623 is worth the money and better than any other speaker set in the price range.
Super quality for the price...better than Klipsch?

STILL blown away by these. At first I had to back the bass off a little but the more I use these (every day) the better they get. Once they were broken in they really cleaned up. Deep lows and sweet highs but when placed further away from you it seems the highs get drowned out. Possibly because of the angle of the speaker or just the throw of the midrange speaker idunno. Was thinking of finding someway to prop the back a little to aim the tweeters more forward....or stands...but very pleased and wished they had a way to mount like the Klipsch Promedias have or had.

Was looking to replace some older Creative Lab speakers that died and wasn’t planning on buying a set with a subwoofer but after checking and comparing I decided to try these. Easy to set up a sound, and the bass is good and rich. Only con was I wish the cable from the sub to the PC was longer but thdt was due to how I have my desk setup but an extra foot would have been nice. Otherwise a great set.
We're thrilled to hear you're enjoying the deep bass and party-worthy sound of your Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System! Thank you for sharing your positive experience. We appreciate your feedback!

I read mixed reviews on this system, but was having difficulty getting my monitor to respond well to the installed sound card on my Acer Predator 5000. So the purchase of this Logitech system was really a no brainer for me, and I have not regretted one second not cent. Rich bass from an over sized subwoofer, and reasonably crisp highs and mids from the undersized satellites. I got more than my moneys worth with this system.

Bass heavy I mean bass is bananas !!! very loud !!
Not perfect high and low vocals but good enough at this price for the amount of bass and quality of the system also very solid wires and everything is just well built very good purchase for my custom pc I would recommend

I bought these for my gf because her setup was lacking. I personally own 4 JBL studio monitors and studio sub for audio engineering. To a trained ear, the speakers without the sub sound good, but not spectacular. The sub brings it full circle and it sounds great in her room. She’s not huge on sound but was really happy for the surprise and really loves her desk setup. I shopped around for other computer speakers and decided on these, and I believe it was well worth the money spent.
We appreciate your detailed feedback on the Z623 speaker system! It's great to hear that, even with your audio engineering background, you found them a good value and that the sub brought the sound "full circle" for your girlfriend's room. We're glad she loves her upgraded desk setup and that you found them a worthwhile purchase. Thank you for sharing your expertise!

Real good price and even better sound quality. The bass is deep and the volume is loud for a computer speaker. I still haven't turned it to full volume because its so loud. surely worth the purchase.

I didn't really know what a woofer was when I went into Best Buy to buy regular speakers for my computer after my old pair died. I LOVE it! I watch TV/movies on my desktop computer so it sounds more like it does in a movie theater than just your basic speakers. Next goal to save for: The Arc!
That's awesome! The Logitech Z623 is a great choice for upgrading your audio experience. It's amazing how much a good speaker system can enhance your entertainment.

My older Logitech 2.1 computer speakers started having issues and were over 10 years old. I decided to stick with Logitech, but wanted to upgrade a bit, and I'm glad I did! These guys sound great, especially with a bit of EQ'ing. The subwoofer can definitely deliver the oompf!
The subwoofer is quite a bit bigger than my older system, so I'd just say make sure you check the dimensions before you buy it to make sure you can fit it comfortably wherever you plan on placing it.

I bought these after a ton of research to upgrade from failed Altec Lansing FX6021 speakers that I had for many years and didn't think could be beat. I was wrong! These sound so much better than my old speakers. The bass is punchy (and adjustable) and the mid and hights sound great too. I continue to hear details in my large music library that I never noticed. They are great for gaming as well. I haven't noticed any distoration even at high volume levels. I don't regret this purchase at all.

I owned a logitech Z313. Cost:$40.00. It is a very good home or office speaker system. But I needed more power. The logitech-Z623 2.1 speaker system fills the bill. You will not believe the quality of the sound. The bass will jar your bones! I also own a bose sound system. For the computer, the Z313 for $120.00 will fill all your expectations for a computer sound system. The new music styles that are bass enhanced, the sub woofer handles it. I have one complaint with the system: the satellite speakers are too small. But let us leave that for a future purchase to solve the problem.

I have always had logictech periphials, never a problem...this is a serious step up, not only in volume and bass, but sound quality, i absolutely love these speakers

Im an audio engineer so i base my opinion solely off pure sound quality. Iv used this for years and im about to buy another set. The fullness of the bass mix with the nice mid and highs on the left and right speakers blend well. Even better you can control the amount of bass aswell... so thats a perk. Anyway, very good set of speakers.
