Great sound system with only one minor complaint.

There’s not much that I can say that hasn’t already been said about this unit. Bass is incredibly powerful, speakers sound crisp with great range and it’s easy to get the right sound out of the box.
The only minor complaint I have is that the cable that goes from the main speaker to the subwoofer is relatively short.
Just enough for small to medium sized desks but if you plan on running the cables alongside your desk to hide them you may find yourself with not enough cable to run to the sub.
Really it’s not that big of a deal but I sure wish it was longer.

Super loud and clear sounding. THX certified you can never go wrong with. The bass is so good, its great with movies and awesome with music. I was blown away with how easy they are to setup and they basically work with everything including my phone, gaming pc, and I'm sure I can get them to work with my xbox as well if i really wanted to. They are brilliant for the price. I've only had them on half way because of how intense they can get but I'd highly recommend them over any other speaker set I've had thus far

These computer speakers are amazing. You won’t be one bit disappointed in purchasing these. The speakers themselves sound great even without the sub. The sub blew me away too. The bass is rich and deep. The quality is too good to pass up for the price. Don’t let the price fool you, these are some of the best speakers I’ve ever owned. These things can crank. Highly recommended

Using the auxiliary cord, it can be plugged into computer, laptop, and phone (common uses) for great bass and sound to enhance your experience. It can really fill a large room with clear thundering sound-for the price it’s amazing. It is compact enough to be transported into other rooms and locations as long as outlet is available.
I purchased three: own two/ discarded one.
Unfortunately, I purchased my first one of similar model over two years ago and kept it neat and clean. One day it decided to quit, as it wouldn’t turn on. I had to throw away a brand new looking speaker system after 18mo-24mo. I decided to make some recent purchases of two more for two other locations to give it another try. Will see how long they last.

Here's the part of the review where I receive my pay. See, I go on and on about how I am so much more qualified than that guy and that guy over there and that girl because I did this and that and that too. It's an ego stroke, you see. That's the pay. I'll send mine to charity. 27 years on the air in commercial broadcast radio qualifies me .. not one tiny bit more .. than you. You have two ears. I have two ears. And there we go.
This is a speaker of the times, 2018. Technology. What do they sound like? They are very "close", very IN YOUR FACE. The sound field is intimate. Now, they back off and lack just a little bit on the high end. But the bass is unstoppable. Again, speaker of the times. If your scene is "Yo Baby Yo Baby Yo Baby Yo", it's all you could ever want in life. However .. if you like a little Jim Croce and America, it's not bad there either. Because the mid-range is so vibrant and colorful. And that comes in for what I was saying about "close". It's the middle part of a mix that carries intimacy and presence. These speakers have that. I would GUESS that Rush fans and maybe Genesis fans would be a little disappointed here .. simply because the complexity of that music needs a strong high end to explain itself. Neil and Phil would love it, though. The kick drum is definitely in the house. No, that's not a modern term. I mean .. it sounds like the kick drum is in your house. Really really.
For the price of the speakers .. it's absolutely ludicrous that you can get this much fidelity. The value here is enormous. Highly, highly recommended.

They are ok but cheaper options sound similar. Good surround sound just cheaper options that are almost as good. Could be louder with deeper more crisp base for 200 bucks. If you get them wait on a sale or trade in a pc item to get 20% off. Should be closer to the 150 range 200 is kind of pushing it. There are other options in this range.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We're happy to know you're satisfied with the Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System, and your input is valuable for our improvement efforts.

After several online reviews of this speaker set, I decided to make the jump and go grab these. I am glad I made that decision. This set shocked me!! the bass is outstanding, the sound quality is great, and the set up was very easy. This speaker set has taken my movie time and game time to that next level of entertainment. I'm seriously considering grabbing another set.

These speakers are killer! They have amazing sounds quality, and the sub really kicks. I've never used them over 55% volume yet because they're that loud. Sound is super crisp. Vinyl sounds excellent being played over these. They're also really great for gaming. They're super easy to hook up - it's just 2 wires. Plug it in and turn it on and you're good to go. They do not require an amplifier.

I was looking for a set of speakers that 1) fit my budget and 2) was LOUD!!! I originally went with the Logitech Z506 5.1 surround sound system (great product too!). Yet, I felt that they didn't produce enough bass and loudness for the room (approx. 20' X 15") in which I was using them.
The extra $80 that I spent on the Logitech Z623 2.1 surround sound was an excellent investment: I got more than twice the amount of wattage (I believe this set is 200W) and a thunderous bass to complement it. Overall, this system produces a lovely (THX quality) sound that is more than enough to fill a medium sized room and could even very well be used at a fairly large party and still have all attendees hear your music roar.

These speakers are loud and clear with great bass and very affordable. Sound way better than even professional monitors you can get a music store. Highy recommend. I bought 2 pair.
It sounds like you've found a fantastic pair of speakers.
Based on your description, the speakers seem to be loud, clear, and have great bass, all at an affordable price. It's great to hear that they outperform even professional monitors. Your recommendation is a strong endorsement.

I'd been looking at this for awhile. When it went on sale for $99.99, I jumped on it. Not at all dissappointed. I've had good expeirences with Logitech in the past. Don't expect any long term issues with this.
Love the input for 1/8th (3.5mm)! With the size and weight of the sub woofer, this is not the most portable sound system. But it would not be difficult to take somewhere. All you need is electricity and your MP3 or other device. This thing will fill a medium to larger room with awesome bass and good clear sound. Even at full price, it blows away all those "portable" speakers for your digital device. Many of which cost more!
Purchased online for in store delivery. Showed up a couple days early.

For the price, this set of speakers just can't be beat. The bass is absolutely phenomenal. The mids are front and center. The highs have a nice shimmer. They are as loud as hell. And no matter what I have put through them, whether it be a bass guitar, synth, and endless forms of music, they have not distorted once at any volume. What else could you possibly ask for at this price.

If you are in the market for a 2.1 system with good sound quality for a great price, these speakers are perfect. Their highs and mids are clear and detailed, and the bass is sufficient. They crank up pretty loud too.

Very good for music, games, and movies even some minor audio production but it really shines when it comes to immersive audio. It's not surround sound but has a ton of bass and gets pretty loud. It works really well for party music. I would stay clear of this if you live in an apartment or scrunched condo/town home because of how loud it can get. The default level of bass and and the knob cranked up to about 30% is enough to shake the walls.

For $120 I can’t recommend these enough. The subwoofer is an absolute bargain, has a monstrous amount of power, and rumbles down to 33hz. The best part about this is how small the subwoofer is. For someone, like me, who has a tiny bedroom with barely any room available this sub works perfectly. Most music doesn’t sound bad on this system from my experience but when too many instruments get going the satellite speakers seem to have trouble handling everything, especially in midrange focused genres such as metal. The midrange is the only thing about this system I think is missing, it seems very under emphasized at times, but a few shortcomings are to be expected at this price point. Most people probably won’t notice. For movies and games that’s where this system really shines. If you want decent enough sound quality with bass you can feel (and make the room or house shake) this is for you. Lastly, I found putting the subwoofer in the corner to be the best option for where I’ve been using it. Any other position resulted in nulls (bass frequencies canceled). If you are lucky to have a larger room that isn’t squared (the worst) then experiment with some other positions if you want.

I love this sound system. It is incredible. So much bass and clear audio too. Only downside is there is no Bluetooth, but the pros outweigh that con by a long shot.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback on the Logitech Z623! We’re delighted that you’re enjoying the powerful sound and bass, and we truly appreciate your balanced perspective on its features.

I got these for the Gaming PC I recently got. I knew the bass was important for sound, so I was looking around for a speaker set that let me adjust the bass with a dial.
It drove me nuts not finding anything in my price range. The closest before was Razer, and given it only comes with a speaker for the price, I figured it wasn't an option.
Then I came across these! I listened to them at my local Best Buy, and the sound was gorgeous! While they still were a bit pricey to me, they definitely have been worth it!
I found out that the feature in speakers, THX? Apparently Razer bought the company who knows how long ago, and that's why I couldn't find anything similar before now.
So I got speakers with this amazing sound quality for $170, rather than Razer's glowing extras for around $500 dollars (I think that's the price for the tier that finally adds a subwoofer) So I think I got an amazing deal :)
So far, I've played Red Dead Redemption 2 and World War Z with it. The sound is easily on par with 300-500 dollar tv sound systems IMO,
