London Has Fallen was a fantastic movie that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It provided a unique, compelling, and shocking portrayal of modern scenarios. It was an incredible movie, with a great mix of action, suspense, and politics. It was a roller coaster ride, and I really felt as if I were watching a real scenario play out. It was extremely well done, and a blast to watch. The sound of the movie was also incredible. DTS-X sound just made the experience even more realistic and intimate, and the sounds were crisp, clear, and shocking. The voices were easily understandable and the sound overall added to the general atmosphere of the movie. Whether you're a fan of sound, action, politics, or drama, this movie is a great fit. I would watch it again in a heartbeat.

I actually walked out of the theater liking "London Has Fallen" better than its predecessor "Olympus Has Fallen." Although it relies on CGI for a majority of the action scenes, I thought that the storyline was set up better than the last film. Heck, one of the secondary characters in this franchise even dies too, but don't worry. I won't spoil who it is! However, in my opinion, this did not affect the overall quality of the film at all. In summary, this is one of Gerard Butler's best films in a while. His character of Mike Banning fits him like a glove...and the "buddy" chemistry that he has with the President is always great too! If you like a good action film with a decent story, do yourself a favor and see this movie!

This is the sequel to "Olympus Has Fallen", though you don't need to have seen the first movie to see this one. It does help however as a number of the characters (and the actors that play them) are the same. If you liked the first movie you'll enjoy the second. If you didn't enjoy the first movie you definitely won't like the second. I know this movie isn't for some. The plot isn't deep and of course one man against a hundred isn't exactly believable. So this might not be your cup of tea. Yes movies that have a deep plot with lots twists and turns are really great but watching a non-stop action movie just to be entertained and escape reality for a 90 minutes is good too.

It's been slammed for poor special effects and criticized for it's cultural stereotyping and improbable plot, but it's an action movie, people. Somebody's got to be the bad guy and, being made in The USA, of course America is going to save the day! It's a Hollywood action film, folks, and action packed it is. And for the record, the special blow up London effects looked pretty darn good to me in bluray on my 1080 55" Sony screen, but who knows, on the larger theater screen or that new and improved (what is it? 45K or something?) screen the CGI flaws every opinionated critic complains about may become more evident. Call me low-brow, but I had a great time with this one!

if you want to enjoy this movie, watch and do not ask, "How did that...happen... why is the Scotland yard so unprepared...how were they able to infiltrate almost all of the defense system in England, how were they able to plant those explosives for a long time without being detected...why, why, why and how and what ?????... if you can get past the time and through it all without making yourself a smarter person only then will be the only time that you will enjoy this movie.. enjoyable action and the POTUS and his bodyguard are impervious to injury so do not expect them to get hurt even if they fall from a burning helicopter.....

Great movie. I really enjoyed the movie and thoroughly had a really good time watching. My kids watched it with me and they enjoyed it too. It is action packed and keeps you guessing what's going to happen next. I love the first one but I really enjoyed this one too. I think Gerard Butler is a great action star. The Aaron Eckhart, who plays the President, is also a very good actor. Of course, who doesn't love Morgan Freeman. All in all, it has a great cast, great action sequences and a great storyline. If you love action packed movies this is a great choice. Enjoy!

I enjoyed the first sequel so much, I knew the studios couldn't top it. Well, I was wrong. Didn't have time to look for flaws in this action movie from across the pond. I must watch this film again and again and . . . because I felt that I must have missed something. Once the action starts, hold on! I refer to this film as a, " not-enough-time-to-eat-my-popcorn" movie. Our three blockbuster stars returned for the sequel. Top notch film with a million stunt persons. You'll see what mean when the first shot is fired. Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart make it look easy!

There is no real mystery in the film. A terrorist (Alon Aboutboul) who lives in rubble is also a world class arms dealer who needs to create terror and wars to sell arms. Once you get past that, we are introduced to Michael (Gerald Butler) whose job is to protect the president (Aaron Eckhart) in a formula film. When the Prime Minister of England dies, 28 head of states go to London for the funeral and to watch the special effects unfold as London is attacked both with explosions and by cyber. Only Gerald Butler can save the Prez.

I actually liked this movie better than the first. The first movie, I think was trying to be legit, whereas this one has a tongue-in-cheek-ness to itself and doesnt take itself too serious. The dialogue is terrible but I do appreciate the unneccessary f-bombs as I would imagine myself saying the same thing it that ridiculous siuation. The CGI is steady throughout aside from a couple "we ran out of FX budget" shots. All in all is was fun to watch Gerad Butler taking full advantage of the zaniness of the movie.

When I saw this in theaters, I hated it. Watching it at home was much more enjoyable. This movie is not as good as 'Olympus Has Fallen', but it is still enjoyable for an at home viewing experience. It's loud, violent, and ridiculous. Butler's character is borderline psychotic. The aural presentation is aggressive and tons of fun. The picture quality looks like a brand new bluray release should, but is nothing extraordinary. The best way to enjoy this is to crank up the home theater and get blown away.

I read about the reviews giving this movie a bad wrap, so I past on seeing it at the theaters. Watching the Blu-ray, the movie did not seem bad at all. In fact, I thought it was just as good, because the plot differed from the first movie. You won't be disappointed by the action in this movie as there is plenty of it. I personally think it was good movie sequel, just don't ask me to choose between the two. They are both awesome and done differently so as not to be repeat of the first movie.

This is a great violent action movie that is entertaining, but you have to remember to leave your brain at the door. The hero of the movie, Gerald Butler gets into fight after fight, both hand to hand and with knives and guns. Each single fight alone should be enough to do in the average mere mortal, but not Mr. Butler, he just gets up and moves on to the next assailant. the bad guys du jour in the US are middle eastern. It did bother me that the bad guys were soooo type casted. uAll the

London Has Fallen is the sequel to the movie Olympus Has Fallen. It's about a secret service agent and how he always seems to get into all sorts of trouble trying to protect the president, this time, during a trip to London. The action sequences is at the same level as the first. Entertaining from beginning to end. This sequel just seems to lack something in the story department. So, just leave the expectations for logic and coherence at the door, and enjoy the movie for what it is.
