This movie recounts the largest and greatest military mission of all time. With an all-star cast including John Wayne, Robert Mitchum and Henry Fonda, you can't go wrong. Buy it !!

It's known to be a classic D-Day movie, although the movie wasn't historically accurate as far as the horrors of the war and amount of higgins boats and ships that were actually on the sea that day. It's a good movie it you are looking for a war movie story without the bloody action.

This is a very classic war film that should be required viewing for WW2 film buffs. This expansive tale is not as graphic as Saving Private Ryan but it is just as tense.

First let me say I love this movie with so many stars. I can rememeber my Dad brought me to a late night showing when we were on vacation But look at the cover of the movie ! It's in color ! I thought it was colorized , but alas it was not. I still would buy it in Blue-Ray , the depth of BW is great
