Old movie, not seen on a dvd format any where else

I *should* have liked this movie. As a science fiction fan and for how highly regarded this movie is, it almost feels like I'm required to like this movie. I just didn't. While the organized crime angle was an interesting twist, I felt like this was a story I've seen multiple times before this one. In fact, I would say that the OTHER Bruce Willis time travel cult classic "12 Monkeys" did it better than this. Despite having solid actors, the movie simply felt flat for me. The other thing that was flat for me was the sound mix. I've read reviews that raved about the immersive quality of this Dolby Atmos track, but that just never came through for me on my Atmos sound bar. Volume levels that would shake the shelves with movies like "Godzilla vs. Kong" and "Top Gun: Maverick" instead sounded muffled and severely lacking in bass. Considering I got this at its absurdly low Black Friday price, this was only a little more than a digital rental would cost, but I'm very glad I didn't pay full price.

I haven't seen this movie since it was released, and this new 4K scan was excellent. The disc has DolbyVision (HDR), and ONLY the disc as the streaming version is merely SDR. This elevates the UHD scan immensely, capturing those extra colors in spectacular way that you can't get from the streaming version. Audio was also excellent, sounding great on my 5.1 system, with excellent bass and crisp and clear dialogue.
