One of the best sci-fi's of the 2010's and an excellent 4K transfer. Sony films, regardless of the movie's entertainment quality, puts out some of the best 4K remasters outside of Arrow Video and the Criterion Collection.

Great 4k must buy when on sale . This was a very entertaining ride. I just enjoyed so much watching this movie. A thrilling film from start to the end. I like time travel movies when done well.

Looper is a movie that takes place in the not too distance future. The main character is a Hitman for the mob, time travel is possible in the future and the mob control every bit of it. When mob bosses need someone killed they are sent back to be taking out by Looper hitmen. This is a must have for any Blu-ray collection.

This is a great recent sci-fi flick with a glorious 4k presentation. I can't recommend it enough for fans of the genre though, as with most time travel tales, it doesn't stand up to close scrutiny.

This is a tough one. On one hand it's always fun to watch Bruce Willis. And frankly Joseph Gordon-Levitt is basically amazing in anything. And the idea is certainly interesting. But then again, the idea is also totally far-fetched and they handle the time-based paradoxes poorly. Still, I added it to my collection because it is worth watching a 2nd time...

I love all of the clever ideas weaved throughout this film. It takes the time travel movie to some new, welcome places. Weird prosthetics on JGL are kinda silly.

No big spoilers...but just a few thoughts....I did find this movie pretty solid most of all. Yet you can't solve any and all time travel issues especially when it comes to continuity with all the issues of time travel. The younger version of the time traveler's experiences and feeling should carry on, yet for some unexplained reason they do not.

Pretty good sci-fi time traveling action pic with good actors doing a good job. The only thing that can be bad is the confusing whole idea of changing the past that can cause a time paradox and the idea of some things that can't be changed and sort of being destiny. I guess that's part of the reason I like time traveling movies though.

I am a huge Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Wills fan, so when I heard they had made a movie together, I was right there. And the two, as usual, didn't disappoint. The story line for this movie is so good, mixing several genres and filming styles. Levitt did an amazing acting job in this and I will not spoil it for anyone who plans to see it ... it's just mind blowing.

Inventive time-travel tale with Joseph Gordon Levitt and Bruce Willis playing the same character at different ages. If you're familiar with this type of story you'll know the drill. It's fun for the most part and a nice, affordable Blu-ray package.

Being a person who enjoys time travel movies I genuinely enjoyed this. Good cast (although Joseph Gordon Levitt looked quite different than usual). Great picture quality as well (4k)

They did a good job making Joseph Gordon Levitt look like Bruce Willis. The concept of time travel in this movie is interesting as they can only send people back in time and that if something happens to your younger self it shows up on your older self. The action is smooth and works well as a thriller.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. Time travel plots are usually very safe and boring. This one does the smart thing and plays with the genre and the paradox of time travel itself. Bruce Willis seems like he actually cares for the character he plays for a change. Great ideas at play here. Recomended.

I was intrigued by the reviews on rotten tomatoes for Looper when this movie first came to theatres. This is one of the few sci-fi movies that lived up to near-unanimous fresh reviews. One of my favorite sci-fi movies with a pretty big gangster/criminal arch. All of the acting and direction is top-notch, and honestly its a lot of fun too.

Time travel story is always a twisted and complicated one to understand if we do not pay attention. But this movie tells this twisted one very clever and makes a good story. Not action packed, but it keeps my attention to the end of the story... making me interested in what the ending would be.. Nice story telling.

I saw this movie years ago on blu-ray and it quickly became one of my favorite Bruce Willis action movies, so when I found it here in 4K, it jumped into my shopping cart.

A real loop of emotions to loop through. You'll loop right through this loopy plot with loops that could've looped way better. Yet, after looping all those loops and you're left feeling loopy looped out, you'll have looped yourself right through some good loops of Looper.

After years of terrible sci-fi films, Looper shines. Follow an assassin to is being terrorized by his future self. Looper is a great time even if it didn't get the recognition it deserved when it first released. Make sure to watch the film that got the director the job for Star Wars 8.

It's brutal and complicated and sometimes too fast and sometimes too slow, but it all works. You'll want to watch til the end, and it will strangely satisfy you, even if you don't agree with how they end it. But you'll keep thinking about it, and come back to it, and that's when you realize how good it truly is.
