Enjoying the game and it is a little faster than the previous game but still great game with awesome abilities and lots of classes to choose from. you lose xp if you die and if you die again before retrieving it its gone for good. over all enjoying it :)

A reboot sequel to the first game by a different company. Getting it shipped to my house was speedily and without issues so Bestbuy did their end solidly, definitely would buy more disks from them. The game itself has a better plot than Souls and has a better world aesthetic than any linear souls game. However the umbral mode is tedious and the enemies are more annoying than difficult. The bosses are harder at the begginning and towards the end but ultimately the single player experience is fine with plenty of build varieties and exploration. What is absolutely not fine is the multiplayer. There are a lot of rubberbanding and netcoding issues and the xbox version of the game has terrible performance unless you set it to performance mode with all graphic options off. The lag online is some of the worst I've seen in any peer to peer game and there is no matchmaking level caps that prevent you from playing with people too high or too low a level like is traditionally done in Souls-likes. The scaling goes up and down and doesn't account for people who have everything fighting people who are starting out. On top of that disconnects are frequent and you have to reboot the game to get multiplayer to work half the time. Another major issue is the game is riddled in bad item drops and there is a lot of grinding for a single player story mode. For multiplayer rewards that are account based, there is an unnecessary amount of rewards and item cost when the payout is rather lacking. Another negative hit is how NG+ is basically an involuntary challenge mode by disabling most of the travel system you use via vestiges because it turns off the base ones leaving you to just using the mini ones you grow via seedbeds. Until they disable that I do not recommend doing ng+ until the developers make the game consumer ready to play.

The game has flaws. There is no doubt about that. For a first game under a new studio, they made a good first attempt. If this does well enough to warrant a second I believe they could make a potentially great game. Only time will tell.

Solid game if you’re up for a challenge. Similar to Dark Souls and Elden Ring

What part of preorder is not understood? This steel book should have been with the game AND my two preorder copies should’ve been ready and available at the same reasonable time. Instead one preorder was available at 5 pm and the second preorder game was available around 8 pm. Then this steel book was mailed couple days later when this was supposed to be picked up. The shipment to my address was not our preference and we were out of town. If it wasn’t for a trusted friend, these parcels would have been stolen. Ordering from Best Buy is nothing but a headache and a huge inconvenience!

It’s a great game underneath, just released with some really lazy bugs that never should have been there.

The graphics and gameplay of this game are fantastic. Loved the firdt one and this onen is just as good.

Very fun game, cant wait to play more. Gotten very far already.

The game so far is great, the cutscenes cut in out and seem to unfocus but the game play its self it solid

The game glitches a lot while you are playing as I belive that it needs better updates to fix the issue.
