We purchased this camera because we live in an area that doesn't have wifi and we don't have satellite access. It works, barely. It does what it says it will do. It has a range of about 350 feet from the monitor/recorder. The night vision recording stays on all night and really doesn't work very well. You really can't see licenses plates or peoples' faces very well even during the daylight hours. We finally had to just let it record all of the time instead of recording with motion only, as it would record and then cut off part of what was happening. You can take the sansdisk out and plug into your computer but we haven't been able to get that to work yet, so can't really say if the picture is any better when viewed on the computer. When we put the disk in to view it says we need some other program to run it which when we go to download it, it says we don't have that capability.

I purchased this system for its price and ease of setup, and it was extremely easy to set up. The monitor is fine and easy to navigate. It's quite low resolution, however, and I'm not sure that it's actually recording. The issue is with camera reliability. I have all four cameras set up within 30 feet from each other, however all four never seem to work at the same time. They're always going back and forth between having no signal and having almost no signal. I thought at first that it could be due to two being outside, but the interior ones in the same room (see image) do the same thing, even when I'm within 15 feet of them with no walls, people, or furniture separating us. I'd recommend this system for someone who wants to check who's at the front door, but I wouldn't rely on it to record video of someone breaking into my house.

The devices were simple to install outside my home and provide adequate picture quality. A little disappointed there is no option to stream onto my network but hey you get what you pay for.

This is a great security system for a starter set. I would prefer to have the ability to use my phone to view the cameras.

We bought this and we really needed it for the night time. The night vision is awful. We took it back and bought one that isn't wireless.

Good: The picture is decent both day and night and easy to set up Bad: freezes up almost every other day and you have to unscrew the panel in the back and remove the battery to reset. Range is not good if the signal has to go through any walls, especially more than one. The monitor is not exactly user friendly.

I LIKE THE OVERALL CAPABILITY OF THE CAMERAS. THEY ARE VERY CLEAR AND VERY USER FRIENDLY.....

Good system for the price. Read several online reviews for various brands. Had a little trouble getting used to programming the recording times and learning how to use the monitor's functions. Only problem with the camera itself is the mounting base threads weren't machined well and had trouble tightening them properly. Overall peace of mind is worth getting extra security for your home and property.

Great product to cover the doors and Garage. Lets us see who is at our door, and no wires to run.

Four camera system covers my entrance, front yard, interior main floor and rear entrance. Easy to set up.. less than one hour. Like how it cycles through full screen mode and back to quad view. Decent sized display console. Well worth the price paid to meet my needs.

Have only gotten one camera set up so far. Looks good and can see everything on the tablet. Didn't realize I needed to buy electrical cords to plug the cameras into for them to work. Thought wireless meant wireless. Still overall happy with my purchase.

The cameras have a nice picture quality and the system is easy to use.

The Lorex station is smaller than my last Lorex, which only lasted a year. This one works ok but it is difficult to see objects clearly. The other issue is the strength of the wireless signal from the camera to the unit.

Still working on down load is to forward recordings to police dept need to call cust service again.over all within unit works well good range

Although the display is not as nice as I would expect. It was as simple as plug them in, position them and watch on the monitor. Wireless and simple.

instructions not very clear, unit constantly recording "ghosts" motion detector goes off constantly goes off with no signs of activity. unit frequently freezes up, have contacted company (lorex) by email over 2 weeks ago, no response. wish i hadnt purchased.

this set up is well worth the price. it could be a bit more user friendly. should have software to use on computer instead of not friendly tablet it comes with. otherwise great set.

Got these to put up around the house after our car's got broken into and they work great, good picture and can start recording on a motion sensor so its not running all the time. Stores right on a memory card.

I love the record feature. It also provides me with flexibility to set as my needs dictate.
