This well done picture is clearly aiming at an audience that would range in age from 12-18 year olds. Not too graphic in any area, this semi love story, adventure follows the daring young hero is his quest to make a journey through a land ripe with monsters, out to control the earth. Will he make it to his young love? He knows she's alive, as they have talked on a two way radio, but what waits him once he leaves his safe bubble? It's a well done, adventure tale. The type of picture that doesn't get made too often anymore. A good Saturday afternoon film.

This was a very unexpected surprisingly great movie. I had watched the trailer and thought it might be worth at least watching, and then was very pleasantly surprised to find a well scripted well acted and very entertaining odd movie. It is a strange concept that plays out extremely well in this case. You should definitely take a chance and check it out if it even remotely appeals to you.

This movie is good, I was going to say cute, but that’s not exactly what I wanted to be the description. I liked the special effects, on this movie. They weren’t over the top, but definitely not below the standards I have gotten used to. The story isn’t original, but it is entertaining and watchable. I am not a harsh critic of anyone’s work, since it takes a lot to get it made. I definitely recommend it, but on a stream not purchase, it’s good for a watch every now and then

This was such an enjoyable journey. The incredible details and color is what really stood out in this 4K UHD release. Since I have the full 7.2.4 Atmos setup, I was also treated to an amazingly immersive sound experience as well. This had a fun cast of characters to meet along the way including “Boy” the dog. You are in for a treat, and will enjoy this more than once.

4K quality was very good, not super crispy though. HDR was noticeable. No Atmos soundtrack if you care about that, but the audio quality is great. The movie itself was ok. It definitely got a lot of hype. I'd probably watch it again one day just so that others can watch it, but once it's enough for this feature. I'd say definitely deserves a sequel just to explore the world a bit more, including more of what happened to the world. Not for young children, teenagers and up are fine.

Quite happily, I truly enjoyed this quirky yet often funny film! It’s actually quite well done, with impressive SFX, and often solid acting. I’d truly recommend picking this title up. It’s quite rare when a film with few well known performers happily & surprisingly impresses me. It’s actually quite enjoyable overall... well done mates! It’s not going to easily impress hard core film fanatics, but most viewers will have a great couple of hours.

Way better movie than I expected good from beginning to end. Great plot and has rewatch value for sure. This movie will not disappoint. This movie has everything from a love story , action scenes, comedy and parts that keep you on the edge of your seat i give this movie a 5 star rating as well as one of the best movies I've seen this year.

So much better than I expected. I did not know much about it beforehand, other than the poster or the trailer, but I like the genre and so I gave it a shot. Dylan O’Brien was very good and charming and better than I have seen him before. This one is definitely a little hidden gem. Recommended A+

This movie is really good because it shows what a man can do when he is pressured with his own survival. It starts with a good reason for him to leave the safety of his shelter community and to learn how to fight the monsters. You will love the action and characters as they all fight to survive with the monsters all around them.

My favorite movie of 2020, let's face it 2020 was a terrible year for almost everyone. This movie came out of no where and was just incredible. My whole family loved it, I am 36 y/o male, my wife and my 9 year old daughter. The 4K HDR with Atmos was fantastic and we wouldn't watch it any other way!

Very fun movie. Out of all the movies I saw during the pandemic, this was probably the most enjoyable. The story was original, the characters were well written and easy to like and I thought the humor was funny and touching. Also, the underground bunkers reminded me of the computer game Fallout.

This is basically an enjoyable romcom with monsters. There is 'monster' action but it's not a horror movie. Except for the youngest of children, this could be considered a family action movie since there isn't much that would be 'disturbing' to older children...possibly a step up from Disney fare. So take a little look at love during the monster apocalypse.

and man oh was this great! it flew under the radar for everyone i just picked it up not knowing anything about it and i was surprised at how well it was made! and the cgi is great! the story is decent a guy looking for his girlfriend while fighting monster on his way there

Purchased for my daughter she is a huge Dylan O'Brien fan. She has watched this move several times and was happy that it had a digital copy so she can download to her phone. Now she can watch when she is traveling. Very good price for blu ray and digital copy.

I purchased this movie because I was curious. The unusual title had me take a second look. This movie has it's moments. Certain characters stand out. The gentlemen traveling with the little girl is a hoot to watch. The dog in the movie is a character in itself. An odd movie but enjoyable no less. Check it out, you might like it.

Enjoyed Dylan O'Brien from the Maze Runner movies. Interesting to see the his transformation in this movie. The monsters were fun too. Enjoyed the story and the non-Hollywood ending. Would recommend this to anybody interested in escaping for a couple of hours.

I absolutely LOVE this movie. I would absolutely recommend this film. Great story plot. Amazing acting and chrmistry from all actors involved. Hoping their is a sequel in the future. Great buy and fun movie. Worth money and time.

I found this movie refreshing in that not everyone was out to get each other as is common in end of the world disaster movies. There was a sense of friendship and discovery that make this movie unique.

I was pleasantly surprised by this blind buy. It is not a revolutionary film, but what it does try to do, it does well. The protagonists are all likeable and it's a fun, positive look at the apocalypse. Disc is bereft of meaningful extras (only epk quality stuff) but the picture quality is great. Only wish that it came with Dolby Atmos.

I loved this. This the giant monster movie is completely original and has its heart in the right place. If all you want to see is monsters beating the crap out of each other, watch Godzilla Vs. Kong. If you want something different, watch this.
