I had high hopes for this last Jane Austen novel to movie. Unfortunately the heroine does not have anything to make me want to root for her as I did with Emma, P & P, S & S. Maybe another viewing when I'm not so tired.

It is overall a decent movie. The comedy takes some getting use to. It is a great clean movie for you and your family. If I could, I would give it 3.5 stars. I wish it was a little cheaper like 10-12 dollars.

Got this for my wife who is a Jane Austin movie fan. she liked it alot. it is a beatifully made movie costumes were outstanding and the antagonist was pretty evil. BUY it if you like any of Austins stories.

This is a good movie. If you love Jane Austin movies you will like this. It's no pride and pred. But a good movie it self

My wife and I are big Jane Austen fans. The quality of the picture, sound and detail are fine but not reference quality. We can't point to any one area but this doesn't feel like a Jane Austen story. It seems a bit contrived or perhaps like a rough draft that was never finished. If you like British period pieces, this will work for you. We just wish it flowed better!

Not what I expected and very hard to follow. Too many 'players' to keep track of who's who.

I love anything Jane Austen, and this movie adaptation does not disappoint. It is so funny!

I saw this in the theater with my wife (along with me, there was one more 30-something man in the audience with his wife; everyone else was either female or senior!) It is fresh, funny, and well cast, with very clever dialogue. We loved it and bought it on Blu-ray to own.

Kate Beckinsale is the best! I love everything she's in.
