Every Steelbook I buy from Best Buy comes with a dent in it. They do not care about you. So I will not be buying Steelbooks from Best Buy no more. And yes I take a picture of my collection, so you can see how many Steelbooks I buy.

This series boast a stellar cast that delivers exceptional performances. The one drawback is that it is limited to only a single season.

This fantastic HBO series got 18 Emmy Nominations for the first season. Regrettably, t was not renewed… The special effects are top notch and the acting is even better. The ensemble cast takes a journey through several different genres (horror, Sci-Fi, time travel, action adventure, war, racism, fantasy) as they deal with family and inter generational mysteries and try to work together to survive the challenges they face. It’s not your traditional journey and that’s the point! The show makes a special effort to tie in characters and aspects of real American history in unique ways and the special features on the Blu-Ray exposes several of the creative talents “behind the scenes” of this well rounded, legendary show!!

It's a wild ride but, unbelievably mesmerizing and entertaining. You will not be able to take you eyes of the screen. Socially conscious and remarkable.

This is probably the most exceptional mini-series that HBO has ever produced. It too bad that there won't be a follow up...

Such an awesome lovecraftian horror sad it was cut short this is a worthy watch

Sad it’s not getting a season 2 but this steel was a NEEDED addition to the collection

Wanted the steel book as this was one of my favorite shows last year. Character development was very successful and this show has more twists & turns than a rollercoaster. Supernatural elements combined with sad/real race relations provided a nice balance. Episode where a character is hired at a department store was a standout!

Fun series with interesting ideas. Too bad we didn't get a second season. Would have been nice to see where the story goes.

An incredible show that everyone should see. The art on the steelbook, and the fact that it is reversible is really cool. Getting the digital copy is nice and it has some interesting special features as well. Can't recommend this show enough!

Excellent horror/syfy series. Amazing storyline with insane graphics, color and picture quality. Highly recommend for any Lovecraft and horror fans.

This purchase arrived fast, the steelbook was also included, and it is great it is on bluray. Too bad that this show was cancelled.

Gorgeous steelbook for an engrossing visual journey. Loved every bit of the show, which manages to hit a variety of horror styles while keeping the characters interesting and the plot tied to real world events. Even remembered to point out how much Lovecraft would have hated a show using POC to tell his stories. I normally wait for complete series to buy TV shows, but since this will almost certainly only see one season, this is pretty much a complete series edition.

The fact that this show only has one season and it made me feel so many emotions is a testament to its greatness.

I wasn't sure if this series would amount to anything by the first couple episodes, but it blew me away by the end. Absolutely stunning acting and a great story that feels conclusive among the sea of shows that always goes on for too long. Though this won't be a one off, it leaves enough room for another season whilst also feeling conclusive in and of itself.

Absolutely loved this series! Though I had no initial interest in watching as I do with most popular series, I gave in and was hooked immediately. Very happy to have a physical copy with great art. My one minor complaint is that this is not a glossed steelbook, which better protects against scratching and simply looks better.

great season and cast love the outcome and plot must watch

It dealt with so much and was always entertaining. So glad to have African American lore shown as it should be and be successful. Great series and excellent collectors packaging.
