The zippers broke within a week of purchase. The bag doesn’t have enough space for extra gear.

I got this to take on a trip but I couldn’t get my camera gear to fit. I tried several differnent ways but I couldn’t get it all in. Once I had a bunch of it in, and went to move with the backpack and stuff started falling out. Not good! I think this is going back to the store.

I purchased this so that I could combine my camera with my laptop bags - to cut down airport bag limits. I took it with my camera (a large DSLR - with large zoom) to Alaska - and some very long hikes - and the pack worked perfectly. It also handles my laptop - although I have yet to travel with it in the pack. (Soon enough.) I highly recommend this pack

Bought this for my DSLR, lenses, accessories, macbook and iPad. Everything fits except for the macbook.. but the padding on it is great! I even accidentally dropped it and everything remained intact and organized. Feels light even when full of stuff and is super comfortable!

I bought this backpack to replace a similar camera/computer bag that I had almost 5 years. Zipper broke on the computer compartment of my previous bag because of use. I had it repaired to no avail. I considered other computer/camera backpacks but for the price and improvements in construction (zippers) I went with this bag.

This bag allows me to head out on a wildlife cruise or sailing shoot with a single bag. I can fit a D500 or D800 with an attached 18-300 or 70-200 a couple of extra lenses or flash if needed, filters, batteries, etc., an attached Black Rapid Yeti strap. I carry an iPad and a couple of hats in the laptop/tablet compartment and there is still plenty of room for a 15" MAC. The top compartment holds a fleece or Thinktank rain-guard plus a full-sized pair of binoculars, glasses, sunscreen and could hold more. The height and zipper location are perfect for reaching down and removing the binoculars without lifting it off the deck. Under the flap on the back is another compartment large enough to hold-rain sleeves or a couple of DVD sized items plus the flap can be used to lash a windbreaker. The lashing straps could be longer in my opinion but I am able to fit an XL sized rain jacket/windbreaker securely. There is a water bottle/tripod leg pocket that fits a good sized bottle very securely. Haven't tried the rain cover but it is there. The strap system is also great. I have worn it for a couple of hours, fully loaded, and not been uncomfortable. Up ladders, down stairs, in cramped quarters - the bag is very stable and the chest cross-strap works well. Another nice feature is that the straps can be fully tightened and lashed flush against the back so that there is nothing for anyone else to trip on when you need to place the pack on the deck/floor between your legs while shooting. There are a few weak points: It is possible but not easy to remove the camera while supporting the bag by one strap but this is not really a sling...it's a large camera pack. It really could use a few more lashing points for gear or preventing it from moving around. The most serious weakness, IMHO, is that the adjustable foam dividers are a little too long and can't be shortened, there aren't enough of them and they are oddly-designed, and there are not enough velcro points on the sides so the camera and lens just doesn't fit quite right. I worked-around it but a pro camera users might find it difficult to close the zipper. It's not an out of the park hit, but it's still a home run.

The bottom compartment can hold my Canon 70D DSLR with 15-85mm lens & attached hood plus the 70-20mm f4/L IS lens + hood and the 1.4x Teleconverter - with some room to spare. Dell XPS-13 laptop and/or 10.5" iPad Pro fit in the laptop compartment. This leaves the top compartment and other pockets for additional gear. Very comfortable to wear and the side camera access opening is real convenient.
