Great for carrying extra gear

It did the job

It worked well but the strap that came with the case is very flimsy. The case holds my camera and a spare battery. It is a clamshell like case with hard enough sides to protect the camera from being banged up when traveling. With a better carrying strap and stronger eyelets it would be the ideal protection for a point and shoot sized camera.

Good for oversized portable HDD or small camera

Large case

Hard case compared to others, but this was not my first choice, rather the sales guy said it was better so I went for it. I think cases are a personal choice but if you tend to drop things this one is the way to go to protect the camera, I tend to be more careful so will look for a smaller one.

Hard Camera Case

It is made of a hard material and will certainly protect your camera. I wouldn't use it for everyday use, however. It's rather bulky. It could also be used as a small case for power cords and adapters for traveling. Overall, I've been pleased with the product.
