    Perfect kit to get the hub. Comes with a dimmer that doesn’t require a neutral wire. Open any wall plate in your older home and you will see what I mean. My 1950’s home is now all smart.

    I wanted to like it, but had issues. We have a house that was built 4 years ago and we could not get it to work with the ceiling fan light properly. It just seems to be too specific to work with everything, so be prepared for possible compatibility issues.

    Nothing wrong with product. I realized I had an incompatible product and never opened. Turned around and sent right back. Ten days after Best Buy received and no refund. ?????

    This works very well as a dimmer, and was easy to connect. Fatal flaw, though — it can’t shut the light all the way off. It just dims it to maybe 5%. I’ve read that this is a common problem. Maybe it’s a good choice if you don’t need to turn a light all the way off, but we were installing it to use in our bedroom, and it just didn’t work for us.

      We're sorry to hear about your experience. Could you please confirm the load type you are attempting to control with this product? We assume you are controlling dimmable LEDs. Since there is no industry standard for manufacturing LEDs, not all LEDs are designed the same. That's why Lutron has a a mobile-friendly web tool to help you select bulbs that perform great with Lutron dimmers. We specifically test to ensure that the bulbs we list on our tool are not susceptible to a variety of issues, including bulbs that will not turn completely off.

      To use the tool, please visit lutron.com/ledfinder. Note that this does require a Lutron control specifically designed to support LED dimming as well. If what you are using is not rated for use with LEDs, it is likely that you will experience issues similar to those you've described.
