Great Sound - Great Software - Good Documentation

It's a great audio interface. It's easy to setup in Windows 10 as long as you run the M-track Installer before plugging the USB cable to the computer. Downloading the rest of the software (DAW, Virtual instruments and effects) is a breeze. I used this M-track 2X2M on Cubase, Music Creator 6, Studio One and ProTools; not a single problem. The sound is crisp. I didn't notice any latency. My experience with this Audio interface is a split one. It worked great for about 2 weeks. Then, it suddenly decided to stop working. I was able to see some of the lights flashing when I connected it to the USB port, but then nothing. It stayed like that for about a day or 2, and then suddenly it decided to work normally. M-Audio support was great at responding. They even created an RMA. I decided to return the item because I need to lay some tracks right away, so I cannot wait for the 2-4 weeks it takes for the repair to be conducted. It went back to the store. I went out and got a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. I must confess I took the fact that the manufacturer was going to take this long to carry out the repairs, as an omen telling me: "Go and try the Focusrite" Good interface. I liked it. Too bad I might have gotten a lemon. I think M-audio should try replacing defective items with new ones versus making the customer wait for them to repair them.
