Gregory Peck plays Macarthur with great respect and dignity! He shows character in his role in trying to restore Japan and keep Russian communists from overtaking the orient.

Remember seeing this in a theatre with my dad--a WWII vet. Good memories. Glad BestBuy still has films like this one.
