    Excellent MacBook Air

I purchased the 2020 MacBook Air about 7 months ago. I was looking for a cost efficient Apple laptop that would be a useful tool for college. The 2020 MacBook Air with the M1 Chip is perfect for the tasks I need to complete for college and my personal life as well. Generally, the this specific model costs $1,250, however, if you catch it while on sale you can get it for a lot cheaper. When I purchased my MacBook Air, I was able to get a discount because I purchased it during the Back to School sale. I only paid $1,000 plus tax for the MacBook. I’ve tested out several computers over the years and the MacBook Air series, has always been my top choice. I finally purchased my own MacBook Air in August of 2020. At the time, the 2020 MacBook Air was the latest model. Compared to the older Air models, the battery life is great and can last up to 5 hours solely on battery power. I purchased the 512 gb model, however, I originally stradled the fence on whether to get the 256 gb model or one with a larger storage. After having the device for 7 months, and using it for several spaceous projects, I have only used 60 gb of space, and the device still preforms exactly the same as when I first bought it. The startup time is quick, and the playback ability is very smooth. I use my MacBook Air, almost every single day, and I love it. So far, I haven’t had to replace anything. The box includes, the MacBook Air, and the charger. The charger is a type-c charger, that has a medium size adapter head just like the newer iPad series. One of the negatives about the MacBook Air, is that it is really easy to scratch and ding. A quick fix could be getting a case, however, most cases only protect the outside. The keyboard and the screen are also directly exposed to dust, dings, pricks, and crumbs. Even still, the MacBook’s overall preformance surpasses all of the negatives. The 2020 MacBook Air with the M1 Chip is a top pick of mine for laptops. It is worth the price and easily withstands the several daily tasks of a busy college student.

I have always been a tried and true Windows user but have been toying with the idea of a Mac for a while now. Curiosity finally got the best of me and I got one. I must say that so far, I'm not sorry. There is definitely a learning curve for use and a financial commitment when it comes to the cost, but overall the laptop is fast, responsive, lightweight and sleek. I got the Macbook to replace a Windows desktop that has been having issues. We got our son a Macbook Pro when he went to college and he still has the same laptop 4+ years later with not a complaint about it. When he was in middle/high school, we went through several Windows laptops because they kept having issues.

Great MacBook, I’ve had this few two years and still hasn’t slowed down. Definitely worth the price even tho it’s a M1 chip. This should last me for years to come.

This is a great laptop. I had a 2020 intel MacBook Pro that used to get hot at the slightest excuse. In contrast, this M1 MBA is a champ. The battery life is great and it handles everything I can throw at it. When I bought it, I was a it apprehensive about only having 8GB RAM, but within days, I wasn't even thinking about it. I have a lot of browser tabs open at any given time and it just chugs along. I use MS Office 365 a lot and I think it did something the first time it ran for the M1 chip, but since then I can't really tell a difference. In fact, none of my other apps have had any issues with the M1 chip. I hope it keeps working like this for another 4-5 years.

This is definitively the best MacBook Air yet. The best has become even better with the M1 chip. This small footprint computer blazes at a lightning-fast speed is incredibly capable and doesn't get hot at all. Ports leave something to be desired, but you knew that already. The point is, this runs laps around PC's laptops that are double the price. If you plan on keeping a computer for the next 5yrs without much worry, this is your best option. Incredible battery life and display, the list goes on.

My family has had many MacBooks over this year and this replaces a 2015 MacBook Pro which my son uses now. This MacBook Air ticks all the boxes for me in terms of form factor, weight and performance. Best Buy was offering a great deal on the 8 core, 8GB/512GB model and for my use case this was a much better value than opting for the new MacBook Air - I also like the old wedge shape. I do miss the variety of ports available on my old MacBook Pro, but that ship has sailed and there are relatively inexpensive options to rectify that.

one of the best laptop I have ever had. Earlier i had Dell which almost stopped working after 2 years with multiple issues. I am so pleased with macbook. If anyone really wants to buy a laptop, buy a macbook. it is bit costly but it is worth. Wait for more time save money and then invest in the best laptop.

I've never owned a Mac before this one. But this one looked so appealing I finally made the switch. I am a student and its fantastic because its battery easily lasts through the day, its very light, very powerful, the screen looks great, and the keyboard is great. The design is a little dated and I'm not a fan of only two USB-C ports. But overall I love this thing, I have had 3-4 laptops in the past 15 years and I've never really liked any of them. I love this laptop and I find myself using it way more often then I have ever used other laptops for.

I used to only use Windows, until I decided to try this MacBook. Now, I'm sold completely. Granted it's my first, and I haven't tried Intel models. This particular M1 powered MBA, blows any similarly priced (or even more expensive!) PCs out of the water by smooth performance and amazing battery life. Before settling on this one, I tried several newest Windows laptops, including 16GB Surface Laptop Studio (!!). It's not even close to what MBA can do, with a much lighter and slicker design.

This M1 processor computer from Apple is the best version of the MacBook series ever. It is fast, runs completely cool and has phenomenal battery life. I use it all day on battery and charge it overnight. Only downside is it will not run 32 bit programs, like my old 2008 version of MS Office. Another drawback is it only has the two USB-4 ports. But it makes up for it by being light and portable. The keyboard is improved from my previous 2017 MacBook Pro. Plus, at around $1000, the new MacBook Air is a great value.

I don't think I can give an honest review about any Apple product because I'm not a big fan. I just bought this because I'm a Software Engineer and I just need it for one of the projects I'm working on. But I can say, compared to what I had before, this one is slick! It's slim, it's light and it's fast. I like the Touch Id feature. If I'm an Apple fan I would say I absolutely love it, but I'm not an Apple fan, so I'd say I'm less miserable than I used to be when I had to use a Mac.
