Resolution-wise seems the same but the colors are much better in hdr over sdr. Either way, the movie is nuts.

The film itself is an action masterpiece, and he transfer on the 4K blu ray is still one of the best I've seen.

This movie is fun to its core and the music takes that all up a notch! The Black and Chrome gives the movie a neat and quite different feeling, well worth checking out.

The film that started a franchise. George Miller's masterpiece. Made on a shoestring budget using actual bikers, his own car, and many unknown cast members, including a young Mel Gibson. Mad Max is a thrill ride with only short pauses in the action so you can catch your breath! Miller's use of cameras attached to vehicles give the audience an incredible perspective of speed. A technique that has been used by directors in action movies ever since. I loved this movie when I saw it as teenager and later when I bought my first motorcycle, it was a Kawasaki. The sequels are probably better films overall, but this one launched the series. I have been a fan of Mel Gibson and George Miller ever since. If you get the DVD, you can switch between the dubbed 'American' version and the original 'Australian" version. The US distribution company didn't think American audiences would understand the Aussie accents, so they hired voiceover artists from Speed Racer! Captain Fifi Macaffy as Pops!! For years, that was the only version we could get in the US. It wasn't until the DVD was produced could we get the original sound.

If you have home theater, this movie is your test piece with beautiful video and a hard kicking sound track.

I finished watching the movie and it was great. Although I never watched the classic Mad Max movies.

In a world of reboots, this soars above as a continuation of the Mad Max saga started by Mel Gibson!!!

I mean if you saw it in theater there's a reason why you're in the DVD section. Enjoy your purchase

The 3D version of this movie is epic. You don't have to have seen the original to enjoy this version.

Very please with the visual upgrade from the 4K. The colors and textures pop more than the Blu-ray

Mad Max is a great action movie made better by the addition of 3d. It adds to the excitement with things flying off the screen during action scenes. Highly recommended.

Mad Max is a classic series. It ranks pretty high amongst my favorite movie franchises. Before this was released in theaters, I was a little concerned because I hadn't seem much promotion for the movie. At least, not as much as your average blockbuster film sees. But it actually turned out to be the best action and sci-fi movie of the year. The cinematography is excellent—they made use of a lot of different classic film techniques (which have unfortunately fallen out of use), used a variety of different filters, and used CGI very sparsely. They used practical effects wherever they could. All of the vehicles in the movie are actually real—which is really incredible. The cast is also really good. Charlize Theron is great as Furiosa, and Tom Hardy plays a great Max. Furiosa really steals the show though; ultimately this is her story, and Max is there for the ride. That's not to say Max is sidelined or anything—the focus just isn't on him. The movie flows well, and is full of amazing set pieces. The action scenes in this movie are some of the best I've seen in a long time. If you enjoy adventure/action/sci-fi movies, or loved the old Mad Max movies, you should definitely check this out.

As a fan of the original movies I didn’t get the hype this movie got and was really disappointed with it until I watched it in 3d, made a bad movie awesome!

Love the 4K the only bummer there is no digital code. Did come with a blu ray version though!

I must say, I didn't expect MM:FR to be this good. I remember going to it in the theater for the first time and realizing immeadiately that George Miller had done the seemingly impossible; He made a sequel to a classic trilogy that may be even better than the previous best entry. I've always loved the original Mad Max, really loved The Road Warrior, and had a love/hate relationship with Beyond Thunderdome. Fury Road is arguably as weird as Road Warrior and just as brutal. It avoids the silliness of Beyond Thunderdome (the only PG13 member of the franchise) and establishes a new benchmark for action movies. If there's anything I can say negatively about Fury Road, it's that it ruined me for action movies. I've never seen an action movie and visceral and impressive, and don't expect I'll see any for a long time that can dethrone this instant classic.

The action in this film is off the wall insanity and a must see for anyone who loves good films.

Nothing but action on the get go! These apocalyptic movies get better and better. Non stop killing and chasing through the wastelands fighting off crazies.
