Customers commend the fun and engaging gameplay, expansive open world, and realistic driving mechanics of Pre-Owned Mad Max. Many also enjoyed the game's story and action-packed sequences, though some found the controls challenging and the experience repetitive after extended play. A few players noted difficulty spikes, while others questioned the replayability. Overall, the game is praised for its immersive world and exciting action, but potential buyers should be aware of some control and pacing issues.

Visually this game looks great. The desert wasteland looks awesome and it seems you can see for miles. The characters you meet and deal with are very well put together and have their own unique personalities, which goes along real well with the story. Overall this game is very fun to play, though, you'll find some things become repetitive. But don't let that keep you from getting this game. You'll spend a lot of time doing side quests to build up your car, weapons and skills that you won't even worry about that.

I was sad that the game didn't follow the story line of the movie. But the game is amazing. Once i pick of the control. I can't put it down. Always another mission always another task. It's additive and fun. And all the missions are achievable Goals.

I'm a huge Mad Max fan but I wasn't sure if the game could live up to the movies. It did! The story is great, the graphics are amazing, there is so much to do on a huge map.

MAD MAX is Awesome. I don't write these reviews often but when I saw this game not being 5 starts I had to put my two cents in. * The graphic in this game are amazing. Better than Halo 5!!!! * The game play is fun and intuitive (This is coming from someone who loves FPS ONLY!!) * The car RPG is so fun it makes you play the game until you get the biggest V5 out there. * Open world is as god as GTA V * The game has a picture mode where you can stop the action and look around taking pictures and design your own background. This is so much fun and I got a lot of cool backgrounds for my Xbox. - My only complaint is the controls. I wish I could design my own button layout but you get use to the button layout very quick and becomes second nature!

You are Mad Max, in a post apocalyptic world where the mad rule and you are fighting to survive. Build up your character and vehicle through a ton of customization options to help you tear up the wasteland how you please. You play in the open world of the wasteland. The world is sprinkled with missions to do and secrets to find. You will take missions from wasteland leaders who you help to retake their territory, while upgrading their base and allow them to help you collect scrap (which is used to buy upgrades). Combat plays out a lot like the Batman Arkham series when on foot in hand in to hand fights. The game is a total blast and nonstop action! I highly recommend this to any action game fan or curios fan of the film Mad Max: Fury Road.

Play as Mad Max in an open world wasteland in a fight for survival. Build up your car, the Magnum Opus, battle Immortus Joe's son and his War Boys, and scrape up everything you can to survive in a desolate wasteland. The game isn't groundbreaking, but if you are a Mad Max fan, and love a fun action game, you will love this game.

I will get this out of the way off the bat. My only problems with their game, which happens to be the same problem with a lot of open world/sandbox games is that some of the smaller missions feel tedious. Driving one place to another and back can get dull over time, not to mention that in the desert wasteland, you will see a lot of areas that look similar. That's it. That's the downside. If you can get past that, you are in for a treat. The pro's definitely outweigh the cons in this game. You are on a quest to create the biggest/baddest car in the game by accomplishing tasks and getting upgrades. In the mean time you are driving your car or walking on foot throughout an endless of sea of bad guys that you can lay to rest with a seemingly endless variance of assault. The graphics look great, the gameplay is simple, and most of all you will be having fun trying to create the greatest car in the Mad Max universe. This game is a nonstop full throttle joy that should be sampled by all, because trust me that you will not put it down.

I had been waiting for Mad Max to come out since I watch the first trailer, and I am not disappointed. The game is beautiful for being filled with such mature content. The setting of the game is very impressive with various 'zones' that each have their own characteristics. The game-play is fairly straightforward and user friendly. The only drawback that is worth mentioning are the camera angles while driving. They can be slightly wonky... They appear to be designed to focus on the action, when most of the time what you need to focus on is the direction you are driving. Besides that everything else is top notch. Controls are precise and responsive, driving very noticeably changes as you upgrade the car, and the combat is simple yet still very often challenging. Mad Max doesn't follow the simple storytelling framework that has been established. While there is a main story line and a plethora of secondary missions and collectibles etc. the game is designed so that the player is forced to participate in at least some of them to progress through the main story to complete the game. I've been enjoying Mad Max for 40+ hours already, and I have a lot of content to continue to enjoy.

This game has the most breath taking sky. That may not seem like much, but against the sepia tones of desert and sand, the sunsets and weather effects look amazing. Hands down, the best looking environment in a video game. The overall combat is fun and on par with batman and shadow of mordor, so if your into those games, you'll feel right at home. The driving and destructibles are cool, with tons of upgrades to unlock - which keep you playing. It's a great game to nerd around and just get lost in. The controls are easy enough, to jump back in at anytime and not be overwhelmed, if you haven't played in in a while. I originally was going to pass on this game, but there was a $10 off deal when buying the Mad Max movie, and with my Gamer's Club Unlocked... Took another $10 off. I like deals, and I like this game. Definitely recommend

Mad Max gives you a glimpse at something that could have been a classic, but it's lost in a cloud of dust by better games like Shadow Of Mordoor & the Batman Arkham series because it doesn't go full throttle in terms of what could have been done with it. The Mad Max world characters & visuals are well done. Car customization is a fun feature, but I found myself wrecking & losing control a lot in the beginning. Both the car & combat controls needed to be tightened up in my opinion. before it was released. Things do get repetitive I would wait till this game dropped in price before purchasing it unless you're a die hard fan of the genre.

This is a good game it's not great but you will get $60 worth trust me Open world Car combat but the player combat close to Batman series is more brutal which is awesome the brutality is exciting leveling your car & character is easy it can be repetitive at times but I think this is a reverse of what happened with two other games that snuck up Shadow of Mordor & Dying Light their release was timed in great spots of nothing out Mad Max had a tough break with Metal Gear out that overshadowed a really decent but not amazing game it's worth a buy to break up some other titles

When the PS3 console was released it had an off road game that was specific only to Sony. I can never remember the title but the gameplay was memorable. It had gorgeous graphics. Mad Max is similar. The graphics are gorgeous. There are some things in that very special care was put into it. Then there are weird references to the old movies... like calling the dog a "Dinki-Di". My biggest beef is there should absolutely be online game play. I had ordered it before I knew there wasn't. It needs online. I have a feeling that it's going to be a franchise, maybe next Christmas or next Mad Max movie installment there will be another game with less story and more online. Speaking of story, so far it's a little weak. I haven't completed it all yet but the characters are a little lack luster and you can tell when a character is basically a necessity to the gameplay so it's less a character and more of an ability enhancer (Chumbucket whom repairs your car). Now, onto cars, there should be more. You should be able to make your own and it should be a huge part of the game. Wtf were they thinking. That's basically the franchise. The cars. I gave it three stars because it is cool, I've been waiting a long time for this game (hell even the movie) and this could have been better. They had the time, the funding and the ability to really wow the player and they held back. Within an hour of gameplay you'll know what I mean. I'm gonna say I would recommend it but not at a new price tag, more like a month or two and trade Madden 2007 for it.

Off the bat I don't know much of the Mad Max universe but this game is absolutely phenomenal. Open world with using a car as transportation with a companion who makes awesome dialogue with Max along with side quests, optional scrap finds as well as extras for picking up? Sign me up. I love the combat with its arkham series waves of foes and the parrying defense system with brutal takedown kills makes this game so entertaining. Ive sunken at least 20 hours into the game and i have no plans on stopping until i find every scrap, collectible, and equipment plans. Must buy for any open world fan or a fan of the mad max universe!

First of all I'm a huge fan of the Mad Max movies, and was very skeptical of this game at first. Overall I was more than impressed. While the fighting system definitely needs improvement. If you are looking for an open world game, and also like driving/racing games, I would definitely check it out. Warning it does take a little bit to get into it, so be patient, and there is a lot to enjoy.

Mad Max is an enjoyable game which does an admirable job putting players in the shoes of the iconic titular character. The open world of the wasteland is fun to explore, though environments and objectives can get a little repetitive over time. The graphics, while not amazing by current standards, are quite serviceable, and suit the franchise. Brawling gameplay is polished, but can get a bit repetitive due to the limited number of different enemy types you will face throughout the game.

As a fan of the fallout franchise I'm in to large explore and collect type Games. So when i saw the commercials for mad max i can say it intrigued me. I've only played it for a day but i have to say it's definitely been worth it so far. The game is a lot cleaner than i thought it would be for a "movie game", same goes for the core mechanics. Although i don't understand the jump button!! You guys will have to play to find out what I'm talking about. Definitely a must grab!!
