    Installed it on GR STI while adding a Pioneer head unit to keep steering wheel functions. TBH, you can use a cheaper alternative for half the price if you do not care to monitor engine functions on the HU.

    Although it says it'll fit it does not. When I went to install it, it did not fit correctly it wouldn't even go in without cutting into the cars dashboard.

    This item should not be sold on its own. For it to work properly you also have to buy separately the $150 steering wheel control retention unit. Right now my button illumination doesn't work and the unit has to be manually turned off when I shut the car off or else it will just stay on because the power for controlling the accessory with Yorkie is run through the steering wheel control unit. When I called idatalink to ask them how to fix the problem they said the only way around it is to buy the steering wheel control unit. 2011 Subaru Outback
