Not as good as past installments.Gets a bit repetitive with mission types but still a solid story and can be had for bargain bin prices.

The announcement of Mafia III is what pushed me to finally purchase a PlayStation 4. As a fan of Mafia II I was looking forward to the sequel however it was a letdown. The story is fantastic and the voice acting is top notch but the gameplay itself was repetitive & tedious. I would've preferred Mafia III to retain the linear story centric gameplay of the first two games as opposed to trying to force the game to be open world.

Every aspect of Mafia III's writing--from the dialogue to the mission descriptions--is excellent. The obvious care and craftsmanship that went into its narrative elements should serve as a model for all other triple-A titles. The gameplay, however, just can't live up, and repetitive missions and technical problems drag the experience down further, turning a game that could have been truly great into one that has to settle for "fair."

Mafia will always be second rate compared to gta games, but where Mafia 3 shines and rivals gta is the New Orleans themed city. It's truly s unique, living breathing fun zone.

Got this one on black Friday and just beat it today. Story was the best part of the game, because the gameplay was a little repetitive.

Nothing too special about this one. The story is interesting but the combat and exploration leave more to be desired.

But the gameplay seems repetitive. You can now get it free guys month on ps plus members with PlayStation 4 in August.
