On a couple of recent trips, it did get me to my destinations, but some problems. 1. You can plug it into laptop to charge, but you can't enter addresses into address book. You have to be running on battery which has extremely limited capacity or connect to charge in running car. 2. On a recent trip, coming south, it correctly told me to turn right onto westbound highway, but called that road Rd 18 east when it was really Rd 18 West. Later, correctly me to turn left into what it called Rd 85 north but was really Rd 85 south. 3. Wouldn't let me enter East Seventeenth St, kept putting in a different street. 4. I tried to enter a location in Rye, NY. It insisted on Rye, NH. Same with Larchmont, NY. it insisted on Larchmont, PA. I entered support requests for these, haven't heard back yet.

Easy to read, easy o hear, love the large screen, and advance notice to turn. I am lost without it

I loved my old Magellan & was worried about buying a new one but I love the new one. It works just like my old one but with better features. I love the traffic camera alert & the 3D views of structures. Only dislike the 1st time I used it a road had changed directions so the GPS had me going wrong way so it already needs an update

Very efficient for general purpose car gps. Does not rquire much effort in start up

Daughter needed a good gps. I have always found Magellan products to be of good quality and reliable operation, plus easy to use. Customer service ranks with other gps makers. Over the last twenty years I have been satisfied with every model purchased, the inherent quality and value.

My previous GPS was 10 years old when it finally quit working. I wanted a reliable product from a familiar manufacturer. This GPS is easy to use and works much like my old one. I also like that the voice is like my old one, before it stopped talking! easy to use and very portable.

Have owned many Magellans. Other than the first 3 purchased 10+ years ago, they have all had problems. Continue to buy because wife likes specific features but the last 5 or so have had problems. Most within warranty period but the refurbished replacements provided only last a little more than a year or two.

Tried using the GPS out of the box but saw errors in the routing it gave me. I then tried updating the GPS using instructions in the box, but was unable. I called customer service thinking I would be able to speak to a live person but was directed to another website to do the update. Went to that site but was unable to update. A few weeks later I repeated the same steps but without success. I finally called a number where I was able to speak to a live person. After checking on my specific model GPS, he told me there were updates but there was no way to download them at present. I was disappointed and questioned whether I should keep this GPS.

This GPS is just the right size for travel and is very accurate.

A few times it has made mistakes, eg, saying go north on I95 while traveling from NY to NC. However, once I drove south it quickly corrected itself

Magellan is a family favorite. easy to navigate. great price. definitely recomend

Great display quality and nice features can't beat this value

I was surprised the additional feature of the Red Light Camera Alert

We liked Magellan as our last one worked for all our needs. We looked for a replacement but the store did not have any on display or in stock. The first one never worked and was returned, the replacement does not have a bright display. I will be calling them as it is set all the way up on brightness....

I no longer get lost with my Magellan. I love it. Everyone should have one.

I had to return my unit due to low volume. Also had a problem updating with Windows 10. I purchased this GPS because Magellan is the only manufacturer who makes a gps with a audible sound just prior to making your turn.

Great product for the price. I would definitely recommend

i bought this for my daughter she stays in iowa and i live in chicago so she needed a gps to get around she loves it very helpful to her thanks

Before you waste your money on any Magellan GPS, do your research and you will see that the units are impossible to upgrade using Win 10. The tech support doesn't have a clue and it utterly useless. Get a GARMIN and you won't go wrong
