I would recommend it for any small home it's greate machine

I purchased this along with a washer and dryer stand for my college student that hated using the laundry mat, and finding time to go there. It also gives the parent a sense of reassurance that your child is not going to the laundry mat at all hours of the night, and they are saving money and time having their own unit. This dryer and the other things are wonderful for the individual that lives in a small apartment; dorm room; or small house. It dries your clothes fast and evenly. One thing you will need with this dyer is an indoor vent.

This is not fancy, but I live in a small, one-bedroom apartment. The space for my washer/drier is small, so this was basically the only option that fit in the space. I definitely prefer this to using the nearby laundromat. The only downside is that it definitely makes my apartment noticeably warmer. This is fine in the winter, but I'm not sure how I'll feel about it in the summer yet.

I bought this dryer about a year and a half ago, about 6 months ago it started acting funny. The dial is almost useless because the dryer doesn't do what the dial is telling it. Sometimes it just keeps running even once it gets to the shut-off (big mistake putting a load in when I went to bed because the dryer ran ALL night). Sometimes it runs backwards, so if I set it to run for the longest drying time it runs for about 5-10 minutes and shuts off. The worst part is I can't get them to send someone to my home to fix it because it's considered "portable". Not portable for someone in a wheelchair to try and load into a car to take it in for repairs. For the time being I just set the dial to halfway through the drying cycle so it dries no matter which way it decides to run; to reset the not recognizing the shutoff I have to unplug the dryer for a few hours. Other than that it dries really well.

Works fast and with no fuss - while very inexpensive

Dryer is small but works great! Perfect for apartments. Also the dryer can be plugged in anywhere which is convenient however it does make the room quite warm wherever you have it running. Honestly though it is awesome and I love it!

Has a lot of settings! Heats up quicky! Interior is smaller that what I thought.

Now, this is an Excellent piece of work. It drys you clothes very well. REALLY !. BUT I HAD TO.RETURN IT BECAUSE OF THE SOUNDS IT WAS MAKING . I HAD IT FOR A YEAR. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT BEST.BUY. DOESN'T HAVE PEOPLE TO COME.OUT AND REPAIR IT. BUT IF.YOU HAVE THE MONEY. DO IT YOURSELF. I MISS THIS DRYER.

Since it is a small dryer I did know that it would take longer but it will just be something I remember.

Easy to setup and operate. Make sure the item you receive is not damaged (dented, etc...) and I recommend tightening all of the screws in the back of the dryer before operating. Also, place non-skid pads on the legs of the dryer so you don't scratch your floor/rip your carpet.

Like previously mentioned great compact dryer size, for when you don't have the space or limited. Does a great job drying the load. I am very happy with it.

The Magic Chef Apt. size dryer is effective especially used with the Magic Chef portable washing machine. The clothes are almost dry by the time the next washer load is done. Its a good pair for tiny houses and small cottages.

This is a great mini dryer. It works well for what I need. I live alone in an small apartment with washer and dryer hookups. I also use the laundry alternative "dryer" to spin out excess water to shorten drying times. I find it works best to do that and keep loads small. If I do that; I am able to cut drying times to about a half-hour. Of course, larger items like pants, sweatshirts, fleece jackets take a little longer.

I love this dryer it's compact and dries fast on the highest temp very happy with my purchase.

Drys fast.. I dry almost everything in this .. just can't do blankets , comforters or anything bulky.. great dryer for apartment

Compact size nice for small spaces and light articles. Takes a while to get completely dry so don't be in a hurry. Pair with the Magic Chef washer for a great small apartment convenience.

It does the job pretty well! It's also nice that it doesnt need an outside vent. When using it, it can warm the room but not that much.

I love this dryer, easy to move around my apartment. I bought it 2 years ago and it works great. I recommend this dryer for an apartment. It has different settings and it's easy to use.

This electric dryer is one of the best products that has lived up to and surpassed it's capabilities. Brings new meaning to the term "good things come in small packages".
