Q: Why is a power cord required for purchase?

A: I purchased this dryer a few weeks ago and it came with the cord already attached. Also it is a regular wall outlet plugin.

Q: Does this dryer need a vent? If not will it make the room hot?

A: It ask for a vent yes but both me and a family member have one without it. We don't notice any extra heat even when you place your hand over the vent its just warm not hot.

Q: When I try to put my filter assembly back on the dryer it just falls back off. It seems like it doesn't have anything to hold it on. Is there something I'm missing ?

A: Turn the lint filter (mesh part) around. There should be no gap between the two plastic parts (lint filter and exhaust vent shroud) you snap together It's a simple easy mistake that I made since it came backwards. Everything should literally snap in place.

Q: HOW WIDE AND HOW DEEP IS THE DRYER?

A: The measurements for this dryer are as follows: Height 27.5 inches Width 23.6 inches Depth 19.7 inches Depth With Door Open 28.6 inches

Q: Is this unit 120 volts and how many amps does it draw?

A: This product uses 120 volts and 15 amps.

Q: My dryer shut down after 2nd use. After a while it started back up. It was on the heat cycle. Is this an overheat safety feature, or doi I have a problem? I haven't used it since. I just know it starts up. I'm a little worried to use it again.

A: You can't start another load right away. You need to let it cool down before you do another load, maybe 30 minutes. You also need to clean the filter between each load.

Q: have used my dryer now for some time but it leaves a smell when the clothes are dry. I don't know how to explain the smell, but what comes to mind is a skunk. You can't smell in the clothes unless you put your nose in it. Please help!!!!

A: Mine also has had a skunk smell for day one. I was late in setting it up so I do not know if I can get a refund. The smell is VERY strong of Skunk and one phone call to MC the Lady was NOT very helpful. She said they do not warrantee against smells. This definitely came with this smell. I WOULD NOT recommend buying this just based on how unhelpful they were today. I'm going through a process with them but there are no guarantees! Check back for updates, right now it stinks!

Q: Is there a pedestal made for it ? It seems pretty low for someone who might not see well or have knee and/or back problems..

A: No there isn't but it comes with mounting hardware to hang on the wall and light enough to place on virtually any table or cabinet.
