“My dryer shut down after 2nd use. After a while it started back up. It was on the heat cycle. Is this an overheat safety feature, or doi I have a problem? I haven't used it since. I just know it starts up. I'm a little worried to use it again.”

You can't start another load right away. You need to let it cool down before you do another load, maybe 30 minutes. You also need to clean the filter between each load.

There may be an internal problem with one of the sensors, however the only way to be sure would be to have a technician diagnose the issue.
