A:AnswerIt ask for a vent yes but both me and a family member have one without it. We don't notice any extra heat even when you place your hand over the vent its just warm not hot.
A:AnswerTurn the lint filter (mesh part) around. There should be no gap between the two plastic parts (lint filter and exhaust vent shroud) you snap together It's a simple easy mistake that I made since it came backwards. Everything should literally snap in place.
A:AnswerYou can't start another load right away. You need to let it cool down before you do another load, maybe 30 minutes. You also need to clean the filter between each load.
A:AnswerMine also has had a skunk smell for day one. I was late in setting it up so I do not know if I can get a refund. The smell is VERY strong of Skunk and one phone call to MC the Lady was NOT very helpful. She said they do not warrantee against smells. This definitely came with this smell. I WOULD NOT recommend buying this just based on how unhelpful they were today. I'm going through a process with them but there are no guarantees! Check back for updates, right now it stinks!
A:AnswerTo clean the lint filter first you will need to remove the lint filter by pulling outward using the four (4) grip holes in the filter assembly. (Please note: The lint filter assembly must be installed when operating the dryer. The lint filter assembly must be cleaned before and after each use). The lint filter assembly consists of three (3) parts: exhaust vent shroud, lint filter, and exhaust filter. Separate the three (3) parts of the assembly and clean the individual pieces using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner. Do not damage the filter assembly. Reassemble the filter assembly in the following order: exhaust filter - lint filter - exhaust vent shroud. Align the entire assembly with the recessed position in the back of the drum and press firmly until the entire filter assembly is secured. Thank you!
