It take ordering a new filter kit and cleaning any lint that maybe trapped in the rotor housing . I am an adult of 53 and it took most of the day. Be cautious in this purchase there are many examples of the same problem with the same " child of ten " answer.
A:AnswerThere is a button ya have to push in and you need to pay attention to the dial and select the heating (red) area... instructions? Also make sure the filter is CLEAN! You must clean that filter after every use! If the filter gets too dirty the dryer seems to have a system that reduces the heat when the filter is too dirty! Prevent fires perhaps? Those are the only reason that I can think of that would cause it to not heat up. You can find more filters for this dryer online if ya look around.
