why is my dryer not heating null

There is a button ya have to push in and you need to pay attention to the dial and select the heating (red) area... instructions? Also make sure the filter is CLEAN! You must clean that filter after every use! If the filter gets too dirty the dryer seems to have a system that reduces the heat when the filter is too dirty! Prevent fires perhaps? Those are the only reason that I can think of that would cause it to not heat up. You can find more filters for this dryer online if ya look around.
