Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.220 volt power is simply 2-110 volt circuits wired separately. I don't see the need for a transformer. Just use one hot wire which is 110v, neutral and the ground and replace the 220 volt breaker with a 110volt breaker and you should be fine. I would tape or wire nut the extra wire you will not be using for future use after you unhook it. It could be done with the 220v breaker but I wouldn't recommend it. Normally there is a red and a black hot wires for 220 v with one white wire which is neutral and a bare wire used for ground. Unhook either the black or red (your choice) at the outlet and the breaker box. Sometimes (I have seen this) people will save money on wire and use a 110 v wire on 220v. This will be a black, a white and a ground. They use the black and white as hot wires. If that's the case, use the black wire on the breaker, hook the white wire to the neutral (ground bar) and use the proper 110v breaker. If you aren't comfortable working with electricity, please hire an electrician or someone experienced with it. What you can't see can kill you!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Watts are, more or less, volt-amps. 120vx15amps is your wattage need. Not a good bargain.
