I enjoyed using this software until it was time to burn my movie to DVD. When burning, the DVD created are unable to be read by any DVD players. Customer service can only occur through email unless you are willing to pay a fee for phone help. Two weeks of daily correspondence via email and I still can't burn a playable DVD. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, simply based on the poor customer service should you need support.

Hi Rutleep,
unfortunately, the problem was caused by an issue with PAL menu's being burned on NTSC discs. The problem needed to be fixed by a patch and this has now been released. Please update your software and the problem should be resolved.
Kind Regards MAGIX Video Team

Bought this on a Friday and tried all weekend to get it to work. Loaded it on my desktop. When I tried to open the software it asks for the registration code. I entered it and it rejected it stating the registration code was registered already to another email address. I tried reentering everything and then again and again several times. The software says to contact support. By the way, support is only available 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday Eastern Time which just happens to corresponds with the same hours most people work and don't have time to mess with their video editing software registration code.
Software and the support is useless.

Hi Goodguy,
we are sorry to hear about the problem. If the serial number has already been registered, then it is likely that the product was returned to the store at some point, and was mistakenly put back on the shelf, instead of being sent back to us. Our telephone support is only during the day, however, we have email support for free here:
https://support2.magix.com/customer/en/request
We will need a copy of the sales receipt, which cannot be provided over the phone anyway, so that we can create you a new serial number. The alternative, is to return it to the store where you purchased it.
Kind Regards MAGIX Video Support

Can't seem to burn a DVD that is working on a DVD player. Figure it's my error somewhere - can't find a step-by-step guide in the manuals; and can't find any online support (email or live) or other information to address the problem. Feeling like I wasted a lot of money. :(
On a second note, the program stops working and forces you to check the license online. I did not want my computer to be online as I have a computer specifically for online use. So now, even though I registered when I purchased the computer and program at best buy, it forces me to recheck the license or I cannot use the program! Insane, i think.
