This unit met my needs very well at a reasonable price.

Connected the device, but did not finish the job!! He was suppose to connect my headphones to the device, but had me buy the wrong products, and the job is not finished, I lost his card to call him back!!!

I was hoping to be able to edit the tapes when I transferred them from VHS to DVD but I realize that's way above my level. This is a great and simple way to ensure all my home movies stay secure!

I bought this product to watch and transfer movies to dvd. Iam happy with it.

I have used. Oath the VCR and DVD functions to include dubbing with no problem. You cannot copy "copy protected " media, but otherwise it works great.

I able to create DVDs of my old home VCR TAPES. The unit works well.

I have called Magnavox techs several times and each one tells me something different. I have given up on it. I am so sorry I bought this.

The Panasonic Payer/Converter is a decent DVR player (not 4K) but based on advertising it upscales old VCR tapes to better quality. I have not found this to be true.

Good but not great, would say playback quality is not HD Quality but better then SD I was using.

Adequate for dubbing. Would purchase again for small jobs.

I cannot say enough great things about this unit! We have numerous old family home movies starting in 1985 that are still on VHS. I had tried to convert them directly to my computer with no success, despite buying two highly rated conversion tool sets. This Magnavox player installed easily and it makes converting the old tapes to DVD practically effortless and the resulting DVD quality is really, really good. If you have a similar need, I wholeheartedly recommend this unit for the job.

This video transfer machine is terrific, easy to use, and produces great DVDs. Don't let the detailed instruction booklet intimidate you, it's actually not as hard as it looks. Do pay attention when you purchase the DVDs, use their guidelines exactly. I bought this to transfer all my family VHS tapes to DVD, it works great. I can plug in my old video camera, pop in a tape and record that.

The product is easy to use for transferring videos to DVD. The product is very easy to use, but to do more than just insert a tape and disk and copy it, the manual is a little tough to navigate. That's why my review is a 4 instead of a 5.
