Very high quality at a low price. No bells and whistles but high value at the price point. If you’re looking to play movies this is your 4k player. If you want apps and media center go somewhere else.

I bought 2 of these when they were on sale for $60. For a 4K player that is an exceptional value. It plays virtually every disc you can throw at it. No wifi or streaming apps which I don't need because I have smart TVs. The load times are fairly fast and the picture/audio quality is great. It has lots of setup options and utilizes CEC, which is very nice. I can turn on/off my entire system with 1 button. The only drawback is the extremely small remote but don't let that stop you. This is the absolute most bang for your buck you will find for a 4K Ultra HD blu ray player.

Lisa, I love 4k.. I put a $350 55 inch 4k TV in my bedroom and needed a 4k Blue Ray player... I fought with myself over having to put a 200+ unit for a 350 TV... well I got this on sale for 69.99 and it doesn't disappoint. It does have limited network capabilities which is nice... It supports network streaming (not netflix or hulu) but if you have a home server or plex you can stream content from your home server which is a nice bonus. On another note, I can't seem to figure out how to turn off the function that reads to you on the device main menu.. it is kind of annoying but worth it for having not to spend 200 bucks on a machine that would be overkill for what I need to use it for.

I picked this up when Best Buy was having it on sale for $50. It was well worth the $50. It's small and compact. You don't really need the remote that comes with it since the player has HDMI CEC, so you can just use your TV's remote to control it. This player does have an ethernet port, but that's just to update the software and access BD-Live features. If you're looking for a 4K Blu-ray player that is sufficient and cheap, look no further.

This is exactly what was ordered. A no frills 4k UHD player. picture looks amazing on my 4K when playing any disc. No audio outputs but thats ok. This delivers!

I have watched several movies and so far no problems. Loads disc pretty fast and has a very good 4k picture. Easy set up. For the price this player can't be beat.

All DVDs really shine on this DVD player the picture is fantastic and the sound is also great. It's pretty small and only has HDMI output

This 4K player suits my needs, perfectly. It's small, but does the job, and the up-scaling on DVDs to a higher resolution is greatly appreciated. Very happy with this "Deal of the Day" purchase.

It is a very good strong working Blu-ray player has a fan to cool the system output is good but there is some downsides with having to go back inside and reset the display settings for different movies such as a DVD or Blu-ray settings to fit the TV correctly to get the most out of the show that you're watching. The picture even on a 1080p screen is razor-sharp in high detail and contrast. Even though it was a new unit it was still dated about two years old so I guess the old stock. One thing I was happy to see it was not a smart player just a good strong basic player with 4K capability haven't tested that feature yet.

I wanted a 4K player, but was not ready to spend $250+. Originally I did want a WiFi integrated 4K player, but when this bad boy got down to $50, it was a NO BRAINER! So it does not have WiFi/streaming, but my TV does. So this player is not SMART, but my 4K TV is. Bottom line, if you want a 4K player that does what it is primarily supposed to do - PLAY 4K MOVIES WELL - then look no further!

Needed something to compliment my PS4 Pro and didn't want to spend much money. Bought this when it was the deal of the day for $50. Also bought a dynex HDMI cord (not included with player) on sale for $2. This does not have streaming apps (which I don't need and don't wanna pay extra for) and plays 4k Blu Ray movies perfectly!! The only thing that I don't like about it is that the remote is very tiny (batteries not included) and you cannot use the player without the remote. But other than that I am very satisfied with this product and would gladly buy again.

A great economical 4k UHD blu ray player, and even better when it is on sale. not all the bells and whistles of the higher end players but does what is needed to watch 4K movies,

Wanted a basic 4K Blu-ray player that wasn't feature heavy so that it didn't interfere with my televisions natural 4K HDR upscaling capabilities. Works great and above expectations. Bought this on sale for $80, and honestly don't recommend paying more than that for the device but I can't stop you. Best Buy has a 2 week price adjustment policy. :)

Even though I don't have a 4K TV, I needed to replace 2 DVD players that had seen better days. It made sense to buy new DVD players that would accommodate HD, BluRay, and newer 4K technologies. Reviews for this Magnavox were generally very positive and I agree. Set-up was easy, it works well w/ my SmartTV and not-so-smart TV, easy to use, and the transmission quality is very good. Having a 4K HDMI cable doesn't seem to matter as I'm not viewing the display on a 4K TV or listening using a high-quality audio system.

This is a namebrand I have trusted for years, and once again it did not disappoint. This player is amazing. Extremely easy to use and of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

This device was actually a very solid player, and shockingly low in cost. Very great for the money, and battle tested.

If you are looking for a 4K blu ray player that will not cost you $200, then this is a great buy. It is very basic but works for playing 4K blu rays & that's about it.

Simple to set up and utilize-nice picture quality...enhances poorer quality dvds

We had just gotten a 4K television and wanted to take advantage of it beyond Netflix and Amazon Prime offerings. This unit was on sale on Thanksgiving for $80 so we decided to give it a shot. Thin on features but the picture looks fine. We have so many smart devices that the lack of internet connectivity and apps on the player is a non-issue for us. Great value for the money so far.
